From furniture to fashion to product design, Juwon’s story is one of growth, grit, and grace.
We talked about what makes a good design career, how to land opportunities that matter, and how to build consistency in a fast-changing tech world.
If you’ve ever wondered where to start or how to stay grounded as a designer, this episode is for you.
In this second part of our conversation with Andy Crocker, former NASA engineer and author of The Unconditionals, we go deeper into the lessons behind chasing big dreams.
Andy shares why giving your absolute best matters, how to push past the first “no,” and why sometimes the hardest work ends with letting go of what’s out of your control. He also reminds us of the importance of rewarding ourselves in the moment, not just at the finish line.
If you’re figuring out your path in your 20s or 30s, this short but powerful episode will nudge you to keep showing up, keep stretching your limits, and trust the process.#podcast #resilience #careergrowth #values #nasa #purpose #discipline
How would you feel if you were competing with Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk for one of the most important projects on earth… and lost?
Now scratch that..what if you were chosen to lead a NASA team tasked with building technology to take humans from earth to space, only for your project to fall short of the top two?
Are there still wins in defeat? What lessons can be found in a childhood dream cut short by an eye defect, when becoming an astronaut was no longer possible?
In today’s episode, we sit down with Andy, a former aerospace engineer who turned personal setbacks into remarkable career victories. From leading NASA’s Human Landing System initiative in 2018 to reshaping what success really means, his journey is a powerful reminder that being young is not a limitation, it’s a stage to dream bigger, fail forward, and rise higher.
If you’re in your 20s or 30s...whether in tech, business, or just figuring life out, this conversation is a masterclass on resilience, redefining success, and daring to be limitless.
In this episode, I sit down with Chris Meador, a thoughtful leader with a career that’s spanned Meta, Microsoft, and NBC; to talk about the quiet parts of success we rarely name.
From moments of feeling stuck despite “doing everything right,” to learning how high-performing teams really thrive, Chris shares what the tech world doesn’t often teach you about growth, resilience, and meaningful work.
If you’re a young tech professional navigating pivots, doubts, or pressure to always be “on track,” this one is for you.

You remember Orvile Wright one of the duo that invented the airplane, my second favourite thing about him is the quote, but we will get to that shortly. When we first reached out to Omah on linkedin, I was nearly certain she wasn't going to respond. For a digital creator, no-code engineer and prominently product designer at a Paris-based AI firm, having Omah respond to the message and progressing to be on this episode of our podcast was incredibly thrilling.
Atasie Esther Omah has for nearly half a decade now been working in product design and has in this time been behind some exceptional projects across a wide vertical of niches including fintech, saas, creative/inspirational software and currently AI. In addition to these, she developes no-code softwares, mentors nascent talents and create engaging contents using bordering on her career, faith and life.
If we are to describe Omah in a sentence, it will simply be - " an enthusiastic, well rounded and adept creative" who amongst other mediums expresses herself in distinct user centric product designs. She's well respected in design circles and regardless of her obviously busy schedules, she is always willing to share her skills and experience with others.
Ironically, we won't have known about the last part had we not reached out.
Back to our quote - " if we worked on the assumption that only whats accepted as true really is true, there will be little or no hope for advance"

Does any of your goals for 2024 scare you?
I'm here to tell you that no one is expecting a 100% from you, we don't expect you to get it all right at once, you are just expected to START. And even if we(some people) expect a 100% from you, that's our expectation...and our opinion. But it's your life, your plans and your goals.
Take baby steps through it, and when/if you ever fail, you would find the courage to start again.
