Her strong desire to improve the education system in whatever way she could, together with her passion for economics and teaching, led Carolina Ferrer from Brazil to create the Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship & Sustainability (BEES) International Competition which has been impacting participants from different countries since its commencement in May 2021.
The program primarily aims to complement the traditional education system with her goal of helping high school students from 9th to 12th grade, and anyone taking a gap year who has never entered a university before, to gain a lifelong international learning experience by innovating projects that could create long-lasting impacts in the next generation. The competition provides different incentives such as medals, certificates, and cash prizes ranging from 20$ to 200$ for the winners.
