Hmmmm, advancing the Kingdom of God in sport... well, that’s exactly what we’re diving into on this episode — and trust us, you’ll want to stick around for this one!
Joining us is none other than Munashe Andrew Mhere — and up and coming rugby star, Jesus follower, and all-around powerhouse from Harare, Zimbabwe. This guy’s not just tackling opponents on the field, he’s repping the Kingdom while he’s at it!
Munashe’s journey kicked off in 2021 with the Sharks U20 in the Currie Cup, and from there, it’s been a steady rise. He’s pulled on jerseys for the Sharks U21s, the Senior Currie Cup team, even the URC squad — all before joining the Pumas Senior squad, where he lit up the Airlink Cup and helped take the team to the 2024 SA Cup finals and Currie Cup quarterfinals. Casual.
Oh, and did we mention he’s an international? He’s rocked the Zimbabwean jersey with pride, even helping them grab a win in the Autumn Asia International Series. No big deal, right?
We're excited to have him join us for this week’s episode, where he’ll share his story of perseverance, growth, and what it means to represent God and uphold His standards in the field of sport.
This week, he’s with us to chat about his journey in the sports industry as a Christian and what it looks like to advance the Kingdom of God through sharing the Gospel. Let's go!

Once you have a vision, carrying it out can feel daunting. That’s why it’s crucial to know who you are and who you serve—giving you the courage to stay the course. Our identity must be rooted in what God says about us, not in the world around us.
As children of God and co-heirs with Christ, we are called to stand firm in His truth. We hope this encourages you to ground your identity in Christ and move forward boldly with the vision He has given you—becoming an effective citizen of the Kingdom of God!
Today's episode features a special guest, Jason George!
In our last episode, we explored the meaning of purpose and how we can discover it by seeking guidance from God. But once we’ve found our purpose, how do we steward it well? How do we ensure it doesn’t become an idol? And how do we navigate the inevitable disappointments along the journey?
Join us as Jason shares deep wisdom on trusting the process, embracing the season of preparation, and staying grounded in faith while pursuing your purpose. This is a powerful conversation filled with insight and encouragement—you won’t want to miss it!
