Imperfection Wellness: Wellness for the PERFECTLY Imperfect!

For years, I didn't feel on the inside what others saw on the outside. I believed & associated with my negative thoughts as if they were me. My search for happiness turned to trying to find it externally (through friends, things I bought, my job, etc), believing the labels placed on me by myself and others, leaving me feeling isolated, lost & depressed. In this podcast, I will share concepts from The Possley Paradigm, so you too can learn to get unstuck from your thoughts, and find happiness from within, as opposed to finding temporary happiness through fleeting & ever-changing externals.

Nervous System Activation & How to Calm it

Your nervous system runs the show, and most of us don’t even realize it. In this video, I break down what the nervous system really is, how the sympathetic (fight, flight, freeze) and parasympathetic (rest, digest, restore) systems work, and how they quietly shape your stress, mood, and energy every day.

I’ll share personal examples of how my own nervous system was constantly activated without me realizing it, and how I learned to shift back into calm and balance.

You’ll also learn practical, real-life techniques you can use right away to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, including:-A quick activity reset (like jumping jacks with mindful counting)-Simple meditation practices-Breathing techniques that calm the body and mind

And I’ll connect all of this back to Possley’s Paradigm, showing how awareness of the nervous system is part of the bigger picture of wellness, growth, and self-forgiveness.

If this resonates, I’d love for you to subscribe, share this with someone who could use it, and continue exploring Imperfection Wellness, More Than My Thoughts, and Possley’s Paradigm. Together, we can create more awareness, balance, and peace. Visit ImperfectionWellness.com to learn more!
