'Guilt'; One of the prison without bars that the enemy - the devil, uses to entrap. And grief is no exception.
But thank God He reminds us that absolutely nothing can separate us from His love.

I learned to breathe.
And yes, I’m still learning to breathe - to be active about my peace, and be present in the moment.
A song I’ve had on repeat lately is BREATHE by Jonny Diaz

Widowhood is lonely. Solo-parenting is even lonelier. But God reminds me daily - I am not alone.

Unless one loses a piece of their heart, they just don't get it!
Hey friend, here's your reminder to take your time grieving as you need.
John 14:27 and 16:33
"My peace I leave with you, not as the world gives... I have overcome the world."
Ever wondered if God can handle our hard questions, vulnerabilities and lamentations? It's exciting to be reminded that He actually wants us to bring them to Him!
Matthew 11:28
God is One who sends a child on an errand, and gives them His backing. He never abandons His own!
Admist the tears, I was reminded of his first words to me: "Hi... You look familiar..."
Psalm 34:18
My pain may not be gone yet, but neither is the love of God for me ever going to diminish.
Welcome to “I know How this story ends” podcast.
I’m your host, Tiwa Adetoye - a Fashion Business entrepreneur, Author, speaker, and recently a widow and single mom!
2023 started out one of the happiest year in my life yet,but ended the worst year ever. My husband, and father of my children, died suddenly, four days to the arrival of our second child.
Incase you are wondering, Yes, we were bible believing Christians.
But my life hit a hard reset.
Over and over I wondered; Is this really happening ? (Yes.)
To Me? (Yes.)
Will I ever get over it? (No.)
Eventually, Ps 46:10 found me: “God will help her. God is within her”
I will never get over this loss, but can I get THROUGH it ?
I’m learning that yes I can, with God.
This podcast is for myself, and any other friend who is grieving or has had to grieve the loss of a husband.
This is both a love and loss journey.
The happy and sad thoughts. The indescribable stabbing pain. The three-seconds smiles followed by the five-minute tears. How a picture brings a hurricane of memories. Or a song, a wave of raw emotions. The secondary losses that come with the one loss. The joys and laughter from the memories. Rebuilding the day-to-day as a widow and single mom. Finding God in the chaos. Seeking & receiving help. The miracles even in the storm. The hard conversations.
Join me as I move from a place of feeling hopeless to being hopeful, and trusting in God’s word. It will not be structured, but it will be from my heart.
My prayer is that sharing my love and loss journey will remind someone - just one person, that God is true to His word, and can be trusted both when we are on the mountain top, or down in a dark valley - so don’t give up!
Don’t give up on God.
Don’t give up on yourself.
You are not crazy.
And you’re not alone.
Grieving is Healing.
