Satan is not afraid of using truth to deceive people. When evil does not appear evil at all are we able to recognize it? When it appears as light and good can we recognize it?

Many want to be encouraged and uplifted, rather than challenged and changed, We would rather feel good than be summoned to the truth. Are we afraid to offend someone so much that we don't tell them they are headed for a sure death. What is more loving, not offending them or telling them the truth with possibility of offense?

If we have a view of God that is only positive, we will reject anything that feels negative, and this includes the fear of the Lord. Let's set the record straight - the fear of the Lord is not simply to be in awe of God or to respect Him. Fear of the Lord is translated over and over as terror, to be afraid, to dread. The love of God and the dread of God are not mutually exclusive.

Most of the time we go through life avoiding struggle; spending our life looking for a way to avoid pain, and even going out of our way to avoid trouble, and persecution. We fear the unknown and naturally look for the easiest path as soon as we feel resistance, thinking we must have missed God.... but the resistance may be God.

The church of God will continually fall away from the steadfastness in the faith. Those who cannot be faithful to God under temptations to disobey him are not worthy of his kingdom. So God allows evil men to come among his people who would lead them away from God and his order, to try to test who among them are faithful and true to him...

Where was God in all this? How many of us have thought this? It would be easier if the wicked were punished immediately. If i could see their failure and then their punishment results. The Psalmist then tells us of his observations, life isn't fair, you can do good, you can be faithful, you can still fall on hard times, maybe even more difficult times...the scales are not balanced.

Maybe you have said to your self, " If Jesus was really who he said he was, how come everyone didn't believe him? Why did the religious leaders reject his message?" This questions rings across centuries.

Don't let your freedom in Christ dilute your words. The person you most influence is closest to you. How many times do you really have the answer but because of the lack of witness in your own life your words fall to the ground. Why is no one listening?? Could it be your words not lining up with your walk?
