My newest purchase. She's a bad mama jama.
Close your eyes for a moment and think back on all those times throughout your time out in the wild where Bond has appeared in your life. And now, think specifically of those less than overt Bond moments that you have encountered on a daily basis. Was there a 007 sushi roll on the menu at the restaurant? Did you happen to stroll down Bond Street today? Maybe your waiter at that sushi restaurant had a name tag labeled "Lupe" ? I know I've had plenty of those experiences over the years where my senses are drawn to Bond related things and places. The synapse connections in my brain get fired up when I have that sensory reaction to a Bond related word or item. Have you had the same experience before?
Join myself and "That One Bond Guy," Chris Morales, for an in-depth discussion of the Bond franchise's best and worst posters over the last sixty years. We'll share our personal favorites and why we are drawn to certain poster art. International versions, British quads, teaser and character designs, we'll cover it all. Part One focuses on our personal "Top 10 Best" plus some personal anecdotes about how we actually met years before I joined the community completely by accident. This is an AUDIO only version. Visit my social to follow along with the posters discussed.
Stay tuned for Part Two shortly!4
Surprise, surprise! Let me recap my secret last minute trip to merry old England this past weekend with you. Bond sites galore, joyous fan gatherings, fulfilling conversations, and a hell of a concert. I can't wait to tell you all about it.
Have you been in that situation, where you and your pregnant significant other are going back and forth over baby names? And to overcomplicate this already complex situation, you suggest a name of a Bond related actor or character? I wonder how that would go over!
In this episode, my guest "The Beared Blofeld" and I discuss how we approached this matter...and both got shot down. We'll present some baby names that may make your spouse's ears ring with joy...or at least be easier for them to swallow. And we'll also introduce some of our Bond community members who have had success and have brought home from the hospital a Felix, an Ian, a Lupe, and a happy wife.
007 years till a new Bond movie? I have some things to say about that, Deadline. Let's get after the "news" of the day.

Remember Suncoast Motion Picture Company? The mall go to store for purchasing VHS, Laser Discs, and eventually DVDs? And pretty much the only store in the mall selling any kind of Bond collectibles, posters, and memorabilia? Yea well, from hundreds of locations, there are only TWO locations left nationwide (for now). Please indulge me as I reminisce down memory lane back to the days where I could walk into Suncoast every weekend with my friends and find a new Bond item to bring home. I miss those days...
What is Bonding Events? Well, let me tell you in my nasally, ultra raspy voice about my new venture. I'll fill you in on some recent Bond adventures I've been a part of..and how those events became a call to action for me to get this project off the ground. Wish you had one place to find out EVERYTHING related to Bond events and experiences around the globe? Screenings, concerts, exhibitions, fan gatherings, autograph signings, and anything and everything in between? Well, now you do. Welcome to BondingEvents.com
A special tribute episode to someone we all respect, admire, and try to emulate in the Bond Community.
Catcha later dudes! Board the time-travelling telephone booth with me as we go back in time and reincarnate the spirit of Ian Fleming. Ok, not exactly! But in this episode, I’ll give you my take on what Fleming would have had to say about all that has transpired in the world of James Bond 007 since his death in 1964…the films, the continuation novels, the character interpretations, and how Bond has changed over the last sixty years. What choices would he have enjoyed, and what would driven him nuts? Well, Mr. Fleming, I’m ready to speak on your behalf!
Special delivery! Joe Darlington, the renowned podcast legend behind Being James Bond, joins me for an in-depth conversation in this special episode. Joe’s extensive knowledge around the world of Bond skill-sets blends perfectly with my inquisitive and satirical nature as we tackle the most outrageous and implausible skills and knowledge that James Bond embodies. It’s a fun ride that will have you questioning how believable Bond’s extensive knowledge is in more than twelve languages, his talent at commandeering any vehicle he has access to like a trained instructor, and his ability to have every outfit for every climate always at his disposal. Mary Poppins would be impressed!
How much do you spend annually on your Bond hobby? Do you have any idea? Let's discuss some recent poll results about what people were willing to admit to...and why those results mean bupkis. I make the argument that most Bond fans do not have an accurate idea of how much they spend on this passion. With watches, products, trips, events, and more, if you aren't careful, being a fan of 007 could be to your financial detriment. Some food for thought for those who could use a financial wake-up call!
EON Productions has no love for pups, none! To start oursecond season, I'll tell a personal tale (or tail!) about my experience proposing a new product category to EON's consumer products licensing team for 007. And I was not treated very nicely! After 18 years in product licensing formy company, this is my forte. And this, by far and away, was the least professional and most condescending back and forth I've ever had professionally. The idiot is ready to speak up!
A quick impromptu episode on why I am choosing to not purchase the 4K Connery "steel" book box-set of DVDs that was just released.
Welcome to The Guessing Game! Some further thoughts on the Omega announcement and what it means...and what it doesn't. But the larger conversation it opens up is, how much of this guessing game is healthy for us as fans?
Season 1 finishes with a splash! I spill the beans on my favorite Bond movie. Cue the judgement.
Disclaimer: Favorite Bond movie and the BEST Bond movie are mutually exclusive things.
Go there or don't go there? I'll make the argument (that may not be the most popular opinion on the block) that it's time to flesh out Bond's backstory. With a new film on the horizon, and possible additional mediums to complement a film series, the opportunities to show Bond as a youth growing up, interacting his friends and parents, going to grammar school and university, and eventually his military service, are growing. Will Amazon MGM take this opportunity to finally to develop his undeveloped backstory, or will they go with the general fan opinion which is to steer clear!
Cringe! Oh those moments in Bond movies where we roll our eyes, turn our heads, or raise our eyebrows. There’s a whole bunch! Episode 10 will be my top 10 cringe worthy Bond moments over the past 25 films. And no, it won’t be all about CGI surfing and bootie slaps. Jump on my crazy train before it leaves the station!
So excited to welcome my first guest. And what better guest then veteran podcaster, YouTuber, and self-proclaimed a-hole Intrepid 007. Our man in Canada will join me for an extended discussion on the topic "Do Bond fans take themselves too seriously?". We'll dissect the trends of "seriousness" from actor to actor, era to era of the Bond series and we will give our two cents on how the marketing, licensed products, extended wait periods between films, and pressure from social media has left many fans buttoning their three-piece suit a little too tightly. This one is not for weak ears.
