The second week of our Advent season brings back Matt Greco to teach us about the importance of waiting.

As we enter the Advent season, Elder Ben Wishall teaches about the Genesis story, the introduction of sin into the world, and the hope that we have in Jesus.

This week we hear from Cameron Johnson (Director of Student Ministry at Redeemer Church in Bellevue and Bible teacher at Summit Classical Christian School) as we come back to our Fruit of the Spirit sermon series. Cameron talks about faithfulness and how the difference between living faithfully or not is often a matter of the competing desires of our flesh.

Continuing our two week break from our Fruit of the Spirit series, we welcome Eric Boles, President of The Game Changers Inc. Speaking from Romans 12:1-2 and Philippians 4:6-8, Eric talks about the work that goes into transformation, the strength that comes from it, and how to be confident and not worry in the midst of it.

As we take a break from our Fruit of the Spirit series, we welcome one of our Vanderbloemen partners Will Klotz to reference Psalm 78 as he teaches about seasons of Wilderness.

Luke Frank is back to talk about fear. He talks about lies that we get caught believing, how they leave us imprisoned to fear, the truths that the Word teaches us, and how they lead to freedom.

Sunder Krishnan is back and in person this time! He continues our Fruit of the Spirit sermon series with the topic of gentleness. Sunder teaches that in order to be gentle or meek it's important to trust God to protect our rights as He sees fit and be angry at the right things, for the right reasons, for the right amount of time.

We welcome back Sunder Krishnan to continue our Fruit of the Spirit sermon series. Sunder teaches how self-control is about being satisfied in the fullness of Christ and being able to say "no," "not now," and "enough" to the things that we indulge in while looking to satisfy our flesh.

This week, we learn about joy from Icon friend Luke Frank as he continues our Fruit of the Spirit sermon series. Luke shares about how the hope we have in the Gospel can lead to an unending joy that is so much more than happiness and outlasts our circumstances.

This week we hear from guest preacher Nathan Betts on the uniqueness of Jesus. Preaching from John 14:1-6, Nathan teaches about the history, love, truth, and wounds of Jesus; giving us the opportunity to reflect on His reality, personhood, attributes, and compassion.

Elder Ben Wishall kicks off our fall sermon series with Galatians 5:22-26. In this passage, God gives us a list of attributes that he calls the "Fruit of the Spirit." After listing off these attributes, which come by the work of the Holy Spirit, he tells us that if we live by the Spirit we should also keep in step with the Spirit.

Elder Ben Wishall finishes off our eight week Philippians series with Philippians 4:10-23. Ben teaches that through our generosity God will bring forth growth and contentment to us through the strength of Christ.

Elder Ben Wishall leads us through week seven of our eight week Philippians series. Out of Philippians 4:1-9, Ben teaches how to don the peace of the Lord and quell our anxious hearts.

Icon partner Matt Greco is back to lead us through week six of our eight week Philippians series. Preaching from Philippians 3:12-21, Matt encourages us to "press on" and lead a life worth imitating, for our true citizenship is in Heaven and home is the prize at the end of this difficult journey.

Elder Ben expounds on how this doesn't mean that God is leaving us to save ourselves, explains how to approach scripture that seems to contradict what we know about God, and teaches how to break the Word down using four practical bible study strategies.

This week we welcome guest preacher Jared Crabtree as we continue with week three of an eight week series through Philippians. Philippians 2:1-11 gives us a glimpse into the very mind of Christ that reveals the life-altering beauty of humility and demonstrates the path He took from the throne of heaven, down into humanity, lower into servanthood, and lower still "...becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross."
