Łukasz Stanek & Christina Schwenkel
EPISODE 9 features an interview with Łukasz Stanek & Christina Schwenkel on their recent books, which examine Eastern European architects and planners who traveled the world in the Cold War, bringing with them ideologies about the proper conduct of dialy life, what cities should be like, and how economies should function. 

Łukasz Stanek will give the 2021 Wiles Memorial Lecture, for Indiana University's Polish Studies Center  on March 26th, 2021.

EPISODE 8 features an interview with Marysia Galbraith, an anthropologist who found a family photograph in an envelope labelled "DO NOT OPEN" in 2011; the first in a series of fascinating discoveries about her grandmother's life in Poland. Galbraith has joint appointment in New College and the Department of Anthropology at the University of Alabama and has written extensively on nationalism in Poland.
