A guy and his 17 year old daughter discuss the films and people of Old Hollywood. Ok, maybe that oversimplifies it a bit. Derek is an educator with a degree in Film Studies, and Sam is an aspiring actress with close to 50 stage credits and an indy film under her belt. They've been watching movies together for a long time, and their shared interest in film history (Sam's been called an "old soul" by many people. and Derek's just old) drives this podcast.

This film has a great supporting cast with Jack Webb, Harry Morgan, and one of our favourites here on the show, Don Defore. But it also has Lizabeth Scott, and your mileage may vary on her. A weird revenge tale, with a cast of unlikeable characters, is this a great noir film? Or is it miss that should have been a hit?
