Jordan Dann is a nationally certified, New York State–licensed psychoanalyst, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist. She brings a dynamic, integrative approach to her work, blending Gestalt therapy, somatic psychology, and relational neuroscience to support individuals and couples in cultivating deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and authentic connection.
With a background in coaching and directing actors, Jordan has long been drawn to the art of embodied expression. Her early career in the performing arts informs her therapeutic style, which emphasizes presence, creativity, and the transformative power of relational attunement.
Jordan is the author of "Somatic Therapy for Healing Trauma: Effective Tools to Strengthen the Mind-Body Connection", a practical workbook offering evidence-based techniques for nervous system regulation and trauma integration. She is also the co-editor of "Experiential Therapies for Treating Trauma", a comprehensive volume highlighting diverse, body-centered modalities for trauma recovery.
As the creator of the Relationship Transformation Course, Jordan teaches the art of rupture and repair, guiding couples through the complexities of intimacy with clarity and compassion. She serves as faculty at the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy in Manhattan and maintains a private practice in New York City.
