Co-showrunner Miguel Sapochnik has announced that he is no longer going to be working on House Of The Dragon. After the past three years preparing for it and immersing himself in the project, he has decided that it is time to move on. HBO announced that they are bringing in Director Alan Taylor to pick up the workload that was Miguels.
