Sometimes, you need a mini dose of encouragement. Here's today's hope--in under a minute.
Mark 12: 29-31 is the hope behind this hopecast.
Today, I talk about my fitness journey. Specifically, I talk about my journey as a fledgling runner. I loathe running as exercise, but my mind and body respond well to it. How do we adjust and reframe our thoughts so we can submit to something we don't like? How can running (which looks painful and seems boring) be good for me? Let's be hopeful together.
In a world where authenticity rules and we take full ownership of our spaces by showing up as ourselves (because--yeah!), let’s be sure to extend grace, kindness, and compassion to people. We were not created to live for ourselves by ourselves. Somebody needs you. They need your sincere “check-ins” and your sincere acts of kindness. Grace the people around you with small acts of kindness, compassion, and gentleness. Stop waiting on the world to change—be the change!
Have you ever compared your journey to someone else's? Stop doing that, friends. We are all sojourners, and we all have different goals, dreams, and hopes. Your "to" (end goal/destination) doesn't look like anyone else's. Strive to get to your desired place--reach your goal. Keep going!
