Our Nefesh or "Animal Soul" wants comfort and pleasure. Our next level of soul, the Ruach or Spirit induces our Nefesh to make better choices by engaging in right actions. How do we engage in the world? Do we use resources well or do we abuse and waste them? In this episode, we explore how everything in the world can be used for self-interest or a higher purpose.

The Ruach is the filter through which the desires of the Nefesh, the first level of the soul must pass. The Ruach is the motivator, the campaigner, and the coach that directs one's actions toward meaning and spiritually fulfilling goals.
