പെൺകരുത്തതിനായി തൂലിക പടവാളാക്കിയ നൈജീരിയൻ അമേരിക്കൻ ജനപ്രിയ എഴുത്തുകാരി ചിമ മാന്ത ഗോസി അദിഛെയിയാണ് ഇത്തവണ ബുക്സ്റ്റോപ്പിൽ. പർപ്പിൾ ഹൈബിസ്കസ്, ഹാഫ് ഓഫ് എ യെല്ലോ സൺ, അമേരിക്കാന തുടങ്ങിയ പുസ്തകങ്ങളിലൂടെ വായനക്കാരെ സ്വാധീനിച്ച എഴുത്തുകാരി. അദിഛെയുടെ ഓരോ രചനയും കടന്നുപോകുന്നത് നൈജീരിയയുടെ സാമൂഹിക, സാംസ്‌കാരിക, മതപരമായ തലങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ്. പക്വതയാർന്ന രചനയിലൂടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ അദിഛെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു. എന്നാൽ എഴുത്തിൽ മാത്രം അവർ ഒതുങ്ങി നിന്നിരുന്നില്ല. ടെഡ് തലകുകളിലൂടെ ഫെമിനിസത്തെ കുറിച്ചും സ്ത്രീ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും അദിഛെ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേയിരുന്നു. വെ ഷുഡ് ഓൾ ബി ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റ് എന്ന ശീർഷകത്തിൽ ടെഡ് ടോക്കിൽ നടത്തിയ പ്രസംഗം പിന്നീട് പുസ്തകമായിരുന്നു. ആഫ്രിക്കൻ സ്വത്വമുള്ള സ്ത്രീപക്ഷവാദിയായി നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് പാശ്ചാത്യലോകം ആഫ്രിക്കയെ എങ്ങനെ കാണുന്നു എന്ന ആശങ്കയില്ലാതെയായിരുന്നു ആ സംസാരം. സ്ത്രീകൾ രോഷം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടവരെന്നും അവർക്ക് അതിനുള്ള അവകാശമുണ്ടെന്നും രോഷമുണ്ടായാൽ മാത്രമേ കർമമുണ്ടാകുവെന്നും അദിഛെ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെടുന്നു.
