Today we have an amazing human being as our guest. Her name is Jennifer Kirsch and she is the mother of three children, one with Down Syndrome. She tells us the story of how her life changed when William was born, how she learned to trust God in the process, and to see William as an integral part of the Body of Christ. While parenting William, God put a mission on her heart to teach Catholic schools and parishes how to see the inherent value in all of God's children and to create programs that allow children with special needs to thrive with their typically developing children. This program is called Shepherd them All. I have always loved learning from Jennifer and I think you will love her today too!

Welcome back friends! This week we are taking a break from our typical format and kicking off Lent with a little retreat just for you. We are sharing Megan's talk from a large Catholic youth conference on prayer. The theme of the conference was a quote by St. Augustine that says "Whole prayer is nothing but love." Megan's talk was on the subject of why we pray. The answer is we pray because of who He is. Find a comfy spot and let the words of Jesus wash over you through this episode. Stay all the way to the end for a powerful prayer experience!
Lent is almost here! On this episode Lindsey and Megan talk about the guilt that we face as Catholics and how the enemy uses it to keep us from experiencing the great love of God. We talk about Lent and how it should lead to freedom and intimacy with Jesus. We also discuss motherhood and the heavy burden that women carry for their families and the faith of their children. Hopefully this episode will give you freedom to enjoy Lent this year with Jesus. We also have a big announcement at the end!

Through this disease the Lord has been working in his heart in powerful ways. On the podcast today he shares his story of finally letting the Lord in and surrendering his heart to Jesus. He also talks about the wild ride that the Holy Spirit has taken him on, once he learned to trust the Spirit. This is a powerful story that will inspire you to trust in the Spirit as well. Milan Chaump is here today you guys! Milan is full of live and love for Jesus. She is a youth minister of a large Catholic Church in the Austin area. She has been known to carry around a large inflatable cow and make Christmas cards for her cat, which we get to hear all about. Milan loves her job and the teens in her care. On any given week you can find her at a basketball game, theatre performance, dance recital you name it. She believes in deep relationship with her teens as a method to invite them into relationship with Jesus and it is powerful to watch. On this episode she tells us about her time as a missionary for Vagabond Missions in inner city Pittsburgh. She also shares how as a child when she needed community and security God continually provided her with a village to surround her with His love. There was a beautiful thread through this episode of relational ministry and being love to teens and children who need it. Milan experienced this a teen, then went on to the that person for so many teens in her adult life.
We are continuing our series on the revival that is happening in the Catholic Church. I firmly believe that healing and deliverance are a huge part of the revival that is coming. God desires to see His church set free. Our friend Norine Shaivitz is joining us on the podcast today. She shares with us the story of deep wounds that she endured when her daughter was born with a cancerous tumor and the healing that the Lord has given her over the years. Norine has a deep and tender love for the Lord that exudes from her. If only this episode were caught on video you could see the way she smiled with love for Him the whole time. It is a powerful episode that will transform your heart! Listen and share with a friend.

Today we have such a fun guest for you and we are talking about revival on college campuses. Gabby Rodriguez is a junior at Texas A&M university and a dear friend of ours. Megan had the joy of being her Confirmation sponsor and High School Theology teacher. Gabby grew up as a Catholic school kid, but always felt like she was missing something. She shares with us how she transitioned from being a child who was raised in the Catholic faith to an adult lives her life for Jesus. We also talk quite a bit about how we can partner with our protestant friends and learn from them while staying true to who we are as Catholics. Gabby is a joy and you will love her!!
Have you ever wondered how do I teach my kids to pray? How do I instill in my family a love for Jesus? Well today on the podcast we get to hear from someone who knows first hand. Our guest Sarah Hoyt is a mom and wife who lives out the meaning of revival in her family every day. She is also the oldest daughter of Deacon Ralph and Susan Poyo. We interviewed Deacon Ralph last year and you can go back and listen to his episode at the link below. He is a prominent Catholic speaker and raised Sarah and her sisters in the power of the Holy Spirit and taught them to love Jesus and the Catholic Church. On this episode we ask Sarah what it was like to be raised by two parents whose life mission is to bring revival and evangelization in the Catholic Church. We also get to hear how she and her husband Russel have made faith and prayer and focal point of their family.
We also talk about charisms and beauty. Sarah shares with us her new adventure as a cottage baker with her new business Bloom and Dough. You will love Sarah! If you enjoy this episode please share it with a friend and leave us a rating and review.

Today we have Heidi Lott on the podcast. She is our new co-host, Lindsey's, sister. Lindsey and her sisters are hysterical together. They exude southern charm and you will love Heidi! She shares an amazing story of how the Lord called her husband to the Catholic Church. It took 10 long years, but it was well worth the wait. We also talk about the pro-life movement and how the Lord is moving in our hearts this Advent.
After a loooong break we are thrilled to be back! We announced last summer that Kendra has gone back to work and no longer has the time to record the podcast. We miss her terribly, but God has sent someone incredible to fill her seat at the podcast table. My dear friend Lindsey Garansuay will be our new co-host. She is a delight and you will LOVE her! On this episode we get to hear all about Lindsey, her faith journey, and how God called her to join us on the podcast. I cannot wait to share my sweet friend with you!
Hello again! The volume on this episode is better. If you struggled to listen before try again.
Hey friends! It has been oh so very long, but Kendra and Megan are back today discussing their experience at the Eucharistic Congress last week. The Spirit is moving in the Catholic Church and we are ready for revival. Listen to the end of the episode for an important update on His Beloved and where the podcast is going.
Today we have our friend Aaron on the podcast. He is the husband of Mary Kate who was on the podcast a couple of weeks ago. He fell in love with Jesus in High School and became a missionary as a young adult. He has served all over the country on college campuses and he was the director of an inner city Detroit Youth program called Youth Works. While he was a missionary he fell in love with the Catholic Church and converted to Catholicism. On the podcast today Aaron tells us AMAZING stories of the power of God. We were shocked by the way God has moved in and through His ministry. Aaron also has a heart for outreach and for encountering people. We can all learn from his amazing ability to connect heart to heart with people and his trust in the power of God. You will be inspired by this episode!! Enjoy!
James Longoria is back on the podcast! James is the worship leader for our His Beloved retreats and youth minister at a church near us. He was on our podcast way back on episode 28 and you can go back and hear his entire story if you would like. It is powerful! Today he shares a new story with us that took place this summer. James, who has an anointed voice, suddenly lost his voice after becoming ill in April. For months he was unable to sing or even speak without coughing. In the process, he met Jesus in a way that he had never experienced Him before and learned to trust Him with our without the gift that he had been given. It is a powerful, miracle story and one that can teach us a lot about trusting in God even when things feel out of control.
Today we have an adorable couple on our podcast. Chase and Viva Crouse are here to talk all things Catholic Fitness. Chase has a background in ministry and Viva is an actress. A few years ago the Lord put on their hearts to become personal trainers and to train people using Theology of the Body and Catholic principles. That is when they started a Catholic personal training company called Hypurofit. During our conversation they explain how fitness and health should not be quick bursts that just fizzle out, but long lasting habits that allow us to live out the calling that God has for our lives. We also get to hear their adorable love story. They are a ton of fun and you will love them. You can find Chase and Viva on their website or their instagram accounts.
