Just a direct brought to you mobile moment on personal thoughts on Masonic Culture.
What do we really know as freemasons? The fraternity is crumbling, do we recognize these issues or do we turn a blind eye. Why is our flame fading and what are we going to do about it?
Are the symbols of the fraternity really lost? Or have we just forgotten, like history and other aspects of life? Should we continue to go down this path will our fraternity suffer or will it eventually make us grow stronger to preserve what little remaining we have left.
Do you except a failing grade? Why should the fraternity?
This episode is a short on what time means too me and the philosophical meaning to how we tend to view time. Enjoy the episode and remember to subscribe and like Hiram's Trestle Board and leave a comment below. We will be looking for ways to bring more light to you all.
Here we will walk through some notions on what the G means in more then one culture. If our forefathers brought some of the old world mythology or had a bigger picture in mind. In this episode we will visit some of these angles. Enjoy
Hello my brothers, welcome to another long awaited episode. This is a short episode but should be something that should bring you thought and let you interpret at your own pace. Please visit us at http://hiramstrestleboard.wordpress.com as we start to build a community of education and interpretation of the craft.
Emjoy the episode (The Cable Tow)
This episode covers what many believe to be the stranger amongst us. Have you ever had the feeling that someone was in a place you felt they did not belong? That would be a cowan, but what happens when he breaks through the ranks and isn't caught in time, or better yet, what happens when a faithful brother isn't all he is cracked up to be? Floren Quick wrote a piece in 1979 and we cover and try to better understand what he meant by the Modern Cowan.
In this episode we take a look at why masonic education is so important within the lodge. We take a glimpse of the realities we face within the lodge and why some look at not coming back if these simple recommendations aren't taken seriously.
In this episode we visit a couple of points of view, when is enough just enough and how do we get to this point where possibilities are more important then facts?
This episode may seem direct in nature, it is to discuss how we over look certain events and end up repeating history because we don't reflect on them. Trying to deny oneself is only denying ones own existence and should only been pointed out if in the interest of ones survival.
My Brothers, Welcome to another episode of HTB (Hiram's Trestle Board), in this episode we discuss what Masonic Freedom means to some. An do we feel as if we are truly free in masonry.
