#21 Emily Wilkey: Assessing your relationship with alcohol

In this episode of the Hey There Sunshine podcast, Courtney Elliott interviews Emily Wilkie, a trained geologist and mother of two girls who has started her own Young Living business.

They discuss Emily's experience with fly-in fly-out work, the challenges of being a stay-at-home mom, and her journey with alcohol.

Emily's relationship with alcohol started in her teenage years, where drinking was a common and accepted activity. In her 20s, alcohol continued to be a big part of her social life, and she used it as a way to cope with social anxiety.

However, after reflecting on the negative impact alcohol had on her life, she decided to stop drinking. She has noticed positive changes in her anxiety levels and finances since quitting. While she doesn't rule out drinking in the future, she has no desire to get drunk again.
