As we feel the temperatures begin to dip on Cape Cod, we start to think about fall. With this in mind, we talk to Heritage’s senior gardener, Laura Swain, in this week’s podcast. This week on The Insider at Heritage Museums & Gardens, our weekly podcast series, we speak with Amanda Wastrom, Heritage’s Assistant Curator, on our outdoor art exhibit “Human | Nature”. Heritage Museums & Gardens invited five artists to install outdoor sculptures throughout the museum grounds and gardens. Each of the artists will install their works in a different month of the summer season (May – September). Each artwork explores how humans and nature coexist, interact, and overlap.

This week on The Insider at Heritage Museums & Gardens, our weekly podcast series, we speak with Jennifer Madden, Heritage’s Director of Collections & Exhibitions, in part two of a two part series on our auto exhibit this season “From Carriage to Classic: How Automobiles Transformed America”. In this exhibit, we present the origin story of the American automobile through 23 cars from Heritage’s permanent collection. In this week’s episode we examine the second floor of the exhibit.
