What’s poppin + WTF is good! Happy spooky season y feliz día de los muertos!
On this episode we’re joined by the one and only, DJ JUANNY. He’s an SF-based DJ/producer and also the creator of Amor Digital, a music collective, magazine & recording studio, that “aims to produce, support and spotlight music + design with roots in the Americas and the Caribbean.” For more visit the AD website.
On this episode we chopped it up about our first memories of reggaeton and the evolution of this genre that we love so much. The range of reggaeton is real.
Also, let us know what you think about the reggaetonero-to-tr*mp-pipeline because wtf is going on in el género? AND why are the majority of the artists we luv simply watching hot girl Nicky Jam cape for DT and staying quiet? Truly gag worthy to be at this POV.

RIP to summer 2024! This episode was a festival recap of three festivals that we individually went to - Baja Beach Fest, Bass Canyon Fest, and Outsidelands. Hella different genres and vibes but lots to discuss revolving festival culture, do's and don'ts, the pros and cons, and so so much more.
What festivals did you attend this year? Do you have any favorites? Or were you nose diving into your hustle era? Whatever it may be, DM me on Instagram. Let's chat.

Reverse and draw 2... We're taking it way back to the origin story of a reggaeton duo based out of the East Bay! KG y Gio are two brothers that have managed to stay true to the elements of perreo, which, what are they? There's no periodic table for these elements, aka it's a feeling, los que saben saben kinda thing. They've been making music since 2008 and have watched the genre of reggaeton expand into what it is now. On this episode, we talked about some of the first songs they wrote and the background stories of how they were created. Of course, tangents along the way but overall, this episode was really fun to record and edit! ALSO, I'm hella sorry for the missing audio clips, I made up for it with some creative production, enjoy bb.

Millennial hands, meatsuits, perreo confessionals and queer dating in the Bay. Oh my!
What didn't we talk about on this episode?! Press play and get comfy, cuz this convo is one of the best conversation roller coasters ever. Oh, and can one of you do a "meatsuit" count? How many times did we say "meatsuit" on this episode? Shoutout to all of our millennials, which is most of you.
Kimberlynn aka La Femme Papi gets on the mic to talk about their DJ origin story, whimsical reggaeton, papi vibes, and we read some sneaky and nasty perreo confessionals.

Moral of the podcast: perreo heals everything!
Joseline Granados aka Yoshi joines us at Frequency 510 to talk all about Nenas del Perreo, throwing an epic quarter-century-house-party, being from LA, our favorite Taco Bell order AND we read our first "perreo confessional" on the mic.
We had a great time learning about our creative passions and the things that drive us to continue to follow our dreams. Reggaeton exists in so many spaces and places and it deserves to be spoken about. Tap into Joseline's Perreo Terapia classes coming to a city near you.

If reggaeton doesn’t make you feel like a bad bitch then, you’re doing it all wrong.
On this episode we talked to a crazy, sexy, cool ass dj: Digital KitKat, who is an eclectic, well-rounded, kinda grungy, kinda sparkly music curator from San Diego, living in the Bay for hella years at this point.
We got into “Hella Preguntas” the Hot Seat segment of the show. We got chatty over tacos vs burritos, reggaeton music we been listening to lately, our favorite chocolate bars and artists that we learned hated but now we love.
For the end of Pride month 2024, the theme of this episode is Bad Bitch Energy! We mentioned Six Sex, Ms Nina, Bad Gyal, Mariah Angeliq and of course, Villano Antillano to name a few.
Keep an eye out for Digital KitKat’s upcoming events, because they throw down on the decks! If you’re looking for a rotating party that gives you an alternative underground vibe that expresses sexuality and embraces diversity through their QTPOC DJ’s in the Bay Area.

Digital KitKat Bio:
Digital KitKat is a queer Latinx artist who first became interested in music in 1991, their birth year. Coming from a Latinx background and hometown Chula Vista, they were exposed to all types of music: freestyle, new wave, Latin pop, dance music, 80's, and 90's. Their first concert was in 1998, Spice Girls, and they were gifted a CD player, starting a collection of music. In the early 2000s, they adopted their family's vinyl collection. At the age of 17, they were attending DIY & Raves in the SoCal area. Digital KitKat has been DJing for 6 years now and is a versatile DJ, event host, curator at nightclubs, dance bars, festivals, and raves. They know how to read and command any type of crowd when mixing and jamming out. Their music knowledge is a perfect addition to any event. They can be found weekly entertaining at private events and functions in the Bay Area. They are a vinyl & digital DJ who can adapt to any setting they are put into. Their energetic style never ends, and their stage presence sparks everyone around them.
Back like I never left! Episode 16, what’s good!! It’s been a minute but we’re back in production! Happy Pride month beibis!
On this episode we’re highlighting Camilo Quinones aka Camilo Cue! He is from Orlando, FL currently residing in the Bay Area. He’s been curating audio experiences since his teenage years where he DJed family parties and even threw a teenage rager where he sold out the entire nightclub (owned by his father) with a bunch of kids from the neighbouring high schools. Anyways, the get to know you chime was real. Tap in, follow Camilo Cue and go see his upcoming shows.
