Hello Everybody!
Today I'm trying something new, this is a podcast swap! The idea is two podcast hosts will interview each other, and then cross publish their interviews on their respective podcasts. How fun!
This interview is with Electra, from Under The Umbra, which is a podcast centered on exploring interpersonal interactions. In each episode, Electra and co-hosts explore ways to think about and plan for difficult relationships with people and systems in a way that stays grounded in values and centers community. Below are show notes and corrections Electra DID leave me, because they value accuracy and evidence.
Show notes: Electra can be heard at https://undertheumbra.info/ , or wherever you get your podcasts.

Extreme behaviors (that 90% of people would never do)
Electra's first listened-to podcasts which became audio literary magazines are still running today.

Captain Tom Molnar is a US Merchant Marine captain, whom I sailed with for several months around Australia, on the MV Bob Hope.
Charlie is a marine engineer and personal friend! We met aboard the Pride of America and in this episode he tells some sea stories, including the time Hawaii had a nuclear missile scare, and talks union membership. Hope you enjoy!
In this episode I interview Sam Lovelace! Skipper of the Sea Scout Ship Albatross, in Martinez CA. Sea scouting is a great program that gives youth practical skills in the maritime industry. If you know a youth who could use an extra-curricular program, I highly recommend sea scouting! It has opened opportunities in my own life and my friends' as well.
This weekend I went down to San Francisco to work on my boat! I cover the projects I did and why. Big shout out to Erin for all her help!
Hello! This is a show about one man's attempt to sail around the world! I haven't set off yet! I have to finish fixing up the boat and building capital. But I'm starting the podcast now to document that effort and interview some of the friends I make along the way :)
