How Do I Know A Prophetic Word is True? Knowing God’s Voice, Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional
How Do I Know A Prophetic Word is True? Knowing God’s Voice, Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional In this episode, Rachael addresses the complexities of discerning prophetic words and understanding God's voice. She emphasizes the importance of testing prophetic messages against scripture, the role of the Holy Spirit in providing guidance, and the need for spiritual maturity in navigating these experiences. Rachael also discusses the dangers of false prophecies and encourages listeners to seek healing from past hurts while remaining open to the gifts of prophecy that can edify and comfort the church. This podcast devotional is a companion to Knowing God’s Voice, Grab Your Printed Copy Here! ☆Have a question for Rachael? Ask it here: Ask Rachael a Question Takeaways Discerning prophetic words is crucial for Christians. God's voice aligns with scripture and never contradicts it. Testing prophetic words is a necessary practice. The Holy Spirit provides guidance and confirmation. Not everyone claiming to speak for God is genuine. Real prophecy should edify and comfort the church. Spiritual maturity is important in understanding prophecy. Healing from false prophecies is essential for growth. Scripture is the final authority on God's word. Ask the Holy Spirit for personal confirmation. Waiting Time Isn’t Wasted Time: Knowing God’s Voice, Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional
Waiting Time Isn’t Wasted Time: Knowing God’s Voice, Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional In this episode, Rachael explores the story of Anna, a prophetess who exemplified unwavering faith and worship during a long period of waiting for God's promise. Through Anna's life, Rachael emphasizes the importance of worship in the waiting, recognizing God's presence, and remaining faithful even in silence. The episode highlights how Anna's dedication and spiritual sensitivity allowed her to recognize Jesus when he arrived, serving as a powerful reminder of the significance of staying connected to God amidst life's challenges. The silence of God does not equate to inactivity; He is working behind the scenes. Anna was a prophetess, the only woman explicitly given that title in the New Testament. Worship can transform our waiting into a holy experience. Faithfulness in the everyday prepares us to recognize God's promises. God sees and honors our tears and struggles during waiting. Anna's life challenges societal norms about women's roles in faith. Recognizing Jesus requires spiritual sensitivity developed through worship. Waiting is not wasted time; it is a time of preparation. We should cultivate a posture of expectation for God's promises. Sound bites "She was part of that faithful remnant." "God sees your tears. He sees that ache." "Your waiting is not wasted time." Social media has been flooded with fear-based predictions, confusing videos, and end-time panic. But what does the Bible actually say about the rapture, the end times, and Jesus’ return? In this episode, we clear up the confusion with a grounded, biblical explanation of the rapture and what Scripture really teaches about the second coming of Christ.
