Today's episode I have interviewed a friend Maddy who is currently overseas working within primary school teaching. She shares her lessons that will help you prepare for your own solo adventure!
I have loved travelling Australia solo, and so knew this would be a great episode 3 topic! 🌎 ✈️
This episode is a personal account that covers a snapshot of my own personal experience. Recently I have shown up and applied a lot of my research in short courses that have covered gut microbiome and the interconnected health benefits.
If you notice any early symptoms refer to a doctor and get a blood test.

Jed is a local hero, a remarkably strong man who has a depth of lived experience that guides his health programs. Today he speaks about the importance of seeking help during those dark days, being vocal now in helping to break down the stigma of sharing your lived experience of a mental illness. Jed is one of the headspace Bendigo Youth Reference Group team members, like myself who are dedicated to promoting a healthy headspace. His Instagram page is @the_healthproject

I am apart of headspace Bendigo's voluntary Youth Reference Group, and so have featured 5 other peer leaders to gain their perspective on how to maintain a healthy mental wellbeing during physical distancing. The second guest is an ex-tradie in his 30's who will share his personal story about his change in life trajectory. Matthew's (@mattnunan) passionate call to assist others who have experience addiction is profound, and was a pleasure to interview.

Today I speak with Dr Tom Brunzell who I met at a professional development workshop. He speaks candidly about his involvement with Berry Street, and how the current climate has played a toll on young people today. To support their cause, you can donate @ www.berrystreet.org.au
I speak with Rochelle, the CEO of this innovative charity who have been collecting sanitary items for those who would often go without.
