
When you think about your core, you might picture six-pack abs. But the truth is, your pelvic floor is just as essential for strength, stability, and overall well-being. Unfortunately, so many women are told that issues like incontinence, painful sex, prolapse, or constipation are “just part of getting older” or “just what happens after kids.” They’re common... but they are not normal.
In this episode I’m joined by Fawn Coussens, PT, MSPT, owner of Kinetic Physical Therapy here in West Seattle. Fawn has a master’s in physical therapy, a background in dance and movement physiology, and a passion for helping women reclaim their pelvic health. She specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation, pre- and post-partum care, and supporting women through perimenopause and beyond.
