In Acts 7:56–60, as Stephen was being stoned to death, he prayed, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” Even in his final moments, he chose forgiveness. And then Scripture says he fell asleep — he had peace while dying, because he trusted God completely.
Imagine how much more peace we could have while living if we gave our anger, offense, and frustration to God.
