It's Episode 100 (obviously) and the hijinks are at the forefront. The trio bring you their takes from Saturday Night's Main Event and Monday Night Raw! The John Cena Last Time is Now or whatever it's called tournament has been announced and there's speculation all around about the match ups and who might show up! Fantastico is concerned about the lack of booking announcements for Survivor Series: Wargames. The Wyatt Sicks and the MFTs are at the fore front for the Men's Wargames, but is there enough excitement for it? The guys bring their lists for the Top 10 wrestling movies of all time! It's fun. It's ridiculous. It's what you'd expect after listening to 100 episodes.
Kenny Romero and "Legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico are flying sans Jason "Turtleneck" Hilton on this informative episode that stays light on the hijinks, hard hitting on the headlines, and heavier on the headlocks. WWE uses Aleister Black and Zelina Vega (not their fault) to give Karrion Kross one hell of a shoot middle finger. There has to be specific victors at this Saturday Night's Main Event to inject life into current WWE narratives. The duo talks about the past 7 days of wrestling and speculates about possible War Games scenarios. Gringo lays down an interesting Chris Jericho return scenario. We love you Mike Rotunda and rest in piece Sir Mo, Bobby Horne.
Episode 98 - Kenny Romero, Jason Hilton, and "legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico (Troma's Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre) welcome the man who brought Fantastico into the business, a legend in Indiana Indie Wrestling and DJ extraordinaire, Troy Miller to the pod to talk about his views on the current landscape of the wrestling biz. He and Gringo wax nostalgic, while Kenny and Jason pick his brain. The quad squad chat about this past week's AEW Wrestledream, Smackdown, and Monday Night Raw! The crew give their assessments about the controversial aquarium spot involving Darby Allin and Jon Moxley. Jason laments about the Baltimore Ravens, while Fantastico fawns over the Colts' surprisingly good season.
(Special Guest: TNA's Nic Nemeth): Fantastico (horror host, Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on TROMA NOW) twists Nic Nemeth's arm in a Fujiwara Armbar to have him join in on this week's episode. Nemeth chats with Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and Fantastico about his career, his memorable matches, Bound for Glory, the current feel of today's wrestling industry, and some of his favorite flicks! The trio tackles Crown Jewel, Raw, NXT, and Smackdown and previews the upcoming Wrestledream PPV via AEW! It's a crazy fun episode with one of the best to have ever graced the squared circle.
Kenny Romero, Jason "Turtleneck" Hilton, and "legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico are back for another "fun" filled episode. TKO has priced out the fans. WWE's booking is like watching a sloth chase a dumpster fire down a hill filled with potholes. AEW is trying, but they have their own problems. Fantastico's solution. Talk about something else other than wrestling. Unfortunately, they can't do that as much as he'd like. Maybe next week will be better after the 8am ET, $30 a month Crown Jewel PPV which has no match with any stakes or point (aside from the Kabuki Warriors vs Iyo and Rhea... so she can perform in Australia.) Ugh! When is this s**t going to get any better? #WeStillWantKross, but at least NXT and TNA are somewhat interesting.
Fantastico has just come off of a grueling (just kidding!) two week shoot for Season 4 of "Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre." He's exhausted. He's bitter. He's angry about the world of wrestling. Luckily, Kenny Romero and Jason "Turtleneck" Hilton are here to put him in his place. The trio talk about everything wrestling from that past two weeks! Join the guys as they come back with a vengeance from a week off to talk about AEW and WWE!
It's time for another dual promotion, dual PPV (or PLE) weekend! AEW All Out happens just a few hours before WWE's pop up PLE with the terrible name (although it was taken from ECW) Wrestlepalooza. Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and "Legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico are here to break down both cards and also talk about a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with anything... and they throw some headlines in there as well. Will AEW's, more than likely, ultra violent PPV stand up to WWE's counter-programming. I guess we're gonna find out!
Jason "Turtleneck" Hilton, Kenny Romero, and "legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico are back for another fun filled episode of quirkiness. The trio discusses the week in wrestling. Matt Riddle is an "interesting" character. Fantastico doesn't understand the AJ Lee hype. The women's division on both WWE and AEW are discussed. Fantastico discusses his disgust with the current climate of pro wrestling. World's Collide, Wrestlepalooza, and All Out are on the horizon and the touch the tip of the iceberg on the cards! It's ranty. It's crazy... and it's quirky!
Episode 92: Kenny, Turtleneck, and Fantastico are back again for more ridiculousness and takes on this past weekend's WWE Clash in Paris. From Becky Lynch doing her best work in years, will AJ Lee show up to defend CM Punk? Find out right here! Fantastico goes on a ridiculous nuclear rant about wrestling writers abruptly ending storylines with no resolution and compares it to his most hated movie of all time. Listen up for hot takes about wrestling and crazy takes about other stuff!
Episode 91 - Gringo Fantastico (Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on Troma Now), Jason Hilton, and Kenny Romero are back again this week to talk about the huge story of Raja Jackson's alleged attempted murder and alleged premeditated assault on Syko Stu at KnokxPro Wrestling. Should Swerve Strickland's statement on social media about wrestling needing to have gatekeeping be brought to fruition? One would say YES! The trio talks Forbidden Door and other news headlines.
Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and horror host luchador Gringo Fantastico (Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on Troma Now) are back to talk more ridiculousness about wrestling, movies, music, and whatever else their squirrel brains bounce to next. Fantastico discusses how to and not to take certain bumps in the Indies. Kenny brings up great questions about entrance music. Turtlenecks praises Triplemania while giving the proverbial middle finger to the lack of decent booking on Friday nights. The trio discusses their thoughts on Hangman Adam Page's and Cody Rhodes' promo skills. Fantastico believes the Kross thing is a swerve and Killer Kross is about to kick everyone's ass in WWE.
Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and Gringo Fantastico are back this week with more headlines, some wrestling, and a ridiculous amount of hijinks. First and foremost, Karrion Kross is discussed. Is it a work? We don't know. Fantastico decides to sell out indie wrestler Sugar Dunkerton to Skynet by asking about where he is now to ChatGPT while Kenny furthers his disdain for Speedball Mike Bailey. Jason tries to keep the train from completely derailing!
Oh Boy! Summerslam happened for two very long nights. We had a cash-in from a fake injury, a return no one really asked for or wanted, balls that were dropped (Not like that, don't be gross!), numerous identical spots, a zip-tie malfunction, bad camera angles, celebrity beatings, post event denial and failed redirection, and Cardi B being the only person near or around WWE that doesn't enjoy breaking Kayfabe. Was Summerslam good? Some of it! Find out what we liked and what we loathed on the new Post Summerslam episode of the pod!
Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and horror host luchador Gringo Fantastico (Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on Troma Now) are here to discuss many o' things. Hulk Hogan's death sent shockwave across wrestling and socials. The trio predicts Summerslam and asks ChatGPT to give its predictions as well. We'll see who knows wrestling better! The wrestling nerds or the Supercomputer. Also, if Drew McIntyre can't make it back for his match with YouTube and Pop Stars and Randy Orton, who the hell can they get to take his place (Please not The Miz). Is Seth Rollins' injury a work? And if so, will he cash in on the winner of Punk and Gunther or is this another Freebird Rules with the briefcase. This episode is full of all the feels, the anger, and the hot takes.
The trio of Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and "legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico are back this week covering everything from TNA Slammiversary to WWE to Kenny's ultimate disdain for "Speedball" Mike Bailey. Goldberg has a retirement tantrum. Drew McIntyre says what the rest of us are thinking. Gringo tells a story about the time he hung out with Jack Osbourne. It's a crazy episode with a lot of ridiculousness, a halfway inebriated luchador, and several hot takes!
After one of the longest weekends in wrestling in recent history, "Legendary" luchador Gringo Fantastico, Jason "Turtleneck" Hilton, and Kenny Romero are here to break it down one match and segment at a time. People were All-In for a Saturday Night of Main Events after a great American bash, to eventually "evolve" after hours upon hours of wrestling content. Pedro Pascal is apparently going to be in anything and everything. New champions were crowned. New bars were set for having quality matches and audibles were undoubtedly called. Buckle up for some stupid hijinks and wrestling headlines! Maybe some headlocks?
It's time for another installment of hot takes, rage-fueled rants (mostly from Fantastico), with your trio Kenny Romero, Jason Hilton, and "legendary" Luchador, Gringo Fantastico! AEW All-In is right around the corner with NXT's Great American Bash, Saturday Night's Main Event, and WWE's Evolution. There's so much going on. There's so much to watch. Don't fret, though, (or maybe you should) because the guys are going to break it down in their own ridiculous way with lots of squirrel moments from Fantastico's exhausted brain! Check it out!
Oh boy, the hijinks are in full swing with this week's episode! Jason "Turtleneck" Hilton is back this week with Kenny Romero and "legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico! The trio talks Ric Flair's "accidents," another Hulk Hogan miss, "Night of Champions" from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the following Monday Night Raw. They dive into a little bit of AEW All-In but... Did I mention the hijinks were off the chart this week? Fantastico was throwing them back, Kenny was a bad influence, and Jason attempted to be the voice of reason. Scary, right?
"Legendary" luchador, Gringo Fantastico ("Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre" on Troma Now) and Kenny Romero are the conductors this week without Jason Hilton to keep the train on the tracks... brace for impact! The duo briefly covers last week's AEW shows, but take a dive into Monday Night Raw on Neflix and Smackdown, which were there to gear up for this weekend's potentially relocated Night of Champions taking place in Saudi Arabia and its constantly changing card. Fantastico goes on a rant about the lost art of self promos and the issues with having writer's write everything. It's a slightly less unhinged episode with just enough hijinks to make it familiar!
Jason Hilton, Kenny Romero, and "legendary" luchador Gringo Fantastico ("Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre" on Troma Now) are back to give you more crazy takes and ridiculousness about the week in wrestling, including Liv Morgan's terrible injury, Bill Goldberg for... reasons, a bump from a camera man, and another disappointing King of the Ring booking decision that turned into something entertaining. Join us for another episode of super chill shenanigans.
