So barley, malt, and hops are all the important parts of beer, and they get all the attention, but equally important is water. We are going to talk about some of the best Scotch-style whiskeys in the world, Japanese whiskeys. Have we done some of this before, sure, but we are better now and can ask the hard-hitting questions. Like, does Japan have the peat for this? Apparently so, but do they even use it?
