Is there a single more cozy character than Agent Dale Cooper? In today’s episode, we are once again chatting our way through the trippy, cozy, and maybe even a little campy world of Twin Peaks. And the focus of today’s episode is Agent Cooper in all his glory, and also in the few moments that begrudgingly make us realize that he is a mere mortal just like the rest of us. Grab some donuts and a damn fine cup of coffee and cozy up with us for this Coop-filled chat.

Oh look, another glorious podcast episode. It makes me sick! This week, Ashley and Sara talk what makes this such an absolute Halloween classic (spoiler alert - the cast), and how they’re both, at heart, Mary’s. It’s all just a bunch of. . .Hocus Pocus.

We are slowly carving out our niche as a silly, chatty podcast where we laugh at all the cozy horror movies we love, while also finding ourselves unable to avoid social commentary – because, at the end of the day, we are #anxiousmillennials through and through. Our discussion on The Lost Boys really goes places, but most of all, it celebrates what is, quite possibly, the most fun vampire movie of all time. Do you agree?

Welcome to our final monster-themed episode: the true and absolutely WILDIN’ story of the Estonia Werewolf Trials. While some of the world was panicking about witches, Estonia decided it wanted to be cool before it was cool, and chose to panic about a whole other beast: werewolves. And the most fun part? One of the locals, a legend known as Old Thiess, was like, yeah, I AM a werewolf. Old Thiess, if you can hear us: you rock. See you on the other side!

Welcome back to another MONSTER-SODE and our first LIVE IN-PERSON recording! This is an extra special episode because today we are watching a total blast from our past and the first movie that we know that we watched together as tweens. Today we are talking about the 2002 live action movie: Scooby Doo!
This episode is a little different because: one, we intro the episode with insight into how non-discerning we are about adult beverages, and two, we recorded our live reactions while watching together (and trying not to fall asleep). It’s a bit chaotic, a bit zany, very much like the Scooby himself. Also catch the blink-and-you’ll miss it cameo from Ashley’s parents dogs, Tallulah and Raylan (video and voiceover cred: Clark Drake). Enjoy?

Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. And today, let that present be this episode where we just scratch the surface of Sara’s favorite show, Twin Peaks! This will be a fully spoiler free episode with the exception of the pilot, so if you haven’t watched it yet, you can still join us while we discuss one of the greatest television characters of all time (Kyle MacLachlan’s Special Agent Dale Cooper), the genius of David Lynch, and if anyone knows what the real meaning of Twin Peaks is (but Sara has a theory).

Wow, this one is a bit of a doozy–hope you are ready to hang out with us for awhile! Today we are chatting about the 1997 summer slasher, I Know What You Did Last Summer! Tune in to hear Sara’s thoughts as a first-time-watcher, after somehow managing to avoid this film until now. With high school crushes aplenty, gaping plot holes, and a surprisingly fun boat chase scene, we have a crab’s worth to say about this one.
For the paranormal segment, we explore one of the most haunted lighthouses in the world, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, located in North Carolina’s Outer Banks. We have never been more charmed by a haunted place–I mean does it get any better than a ghost cat??
