A semitransparent woman wearing a nineteenth century white dress appears to kids and young adults as they are on their phones. The ghostly apparition raises her right index finger in front of her lips and waves it back and forth. She appears a half dozen times. Then, the young adults are found with grave burns. The wounds are so serious that they cause permanent disfiguration or death. Those are the details that various stories of “the lady in white” have in common.
