Harini and Harsha
Idgah - Hindi
Idgah is a heart-warming story by Munshi Premchand, that explores the emotions, mind and wit of a young child, Hamid, aged 5-6. Hamid is a poor orphan looked after by his grandmother. The rest you will know as you listen to the story. The story is safe to be heard by children and was part of my school text when I was young. Since this was written in the 1930s I suggest parental guidance as the language may be difficult to follow for some.Book: IdgahAuthor: Munshi PremchandNarrator: Harini PrakashHarini is a vegan food photographer, writer and blogger based in Mumbai. Please connect with her on instagram where she is quite active and visit her website. Your comments are precious.
