This week we discuss more about rural community issues, specifically in the wake of infrastructure collapses in Oklahoma and Texas. We talk about issues in the firearm community in how it responds to marginalized communities seeking to enter firearm ownership spaces. We talk about what rural poverty looks like, and how the structures of power exacerbate and maintain that systemic poverty. We discuss how systems of campaign finance and income barriers to public service create governments in rural communities that don't reflect the makeup of those communities.  All of this and much more in this weeks episode.
