So many folx feel self-conscious at the gym or when exercising in front of others. A lot of it stems from us not wanting to look silly or inexperienced in front of strangers. Here are my top tips to feel less self-conscious in front of others.
- Play out the worst case scenario
- Compare the pain/discomfort of getting out there vs. staying where you are
- If you don't like the conditions, change them!
- Practice with these improved conditions to gain confidence
- Dig into your narrative to figure out WHY you feel self-conscious
