From Boys to Men: Nurturing Leadership, Respect and Identity at Home and in Society

Assalamu alaikum and welcome to the Sisters That Walk This Path Podcast. I’m your host, Khadeejah Sulaimon.

Today’s episode is titled “From Boys to Men: Nurturing Leadership, Respect, and Identity at Home and in Society.”

I had the honor of sitting down with Brother Taylor Benjamin, a dedicated educator, mentor, and the founder of Inspire The Great (ITG). As a revert to Islam, Brother Taylor brought a unique and powerful perspective to our conversation on masculinity, identity, and purpose. We explored how boys can be guided into becoming men of integrity, grounded in faith and character, and how it all begins with the environments we create at home and within our communities.

It was a meaningful and deeply relevant discussion, and I can’t wait for you to listen in.

What happens after a divorce?
This episode is to empower the divorced women to be bold in taking the next steps in their divorce journey with so much trust in Allah and to also do the work necessary to help them get to that point that they hope to be in life. They also need to learn to make decisions without being ashamed, especially if downsizing in standard is the way forward. They also need to learn new skills to help them earn more money to sustain the family. To help that divorced woman to love herself more after a divorce and not to judge nor condemn themselves, simply because they are now single, instead to see it as a blessing from Allah and they earlier they come to terms with it, the better. Absoltr tawakkul in Allah is the only solution to achieve this.
