Ever looked at your financial situation and thought,
"There's got to be something more than this?"
That was my question almost 15 years ago as we were facing financial difficulty.
It wasn't long after when my husband and I were taught about THE BLESSING in the Bible.
After a lot of hopeless looks at our finances beforehand, this new understanding gave life to us again. We took what the Bible said and applied it to our lives, believing God to supernaturally pay off bills and supply our needs.
My hope is through today's episode, you learn that God intended to bless His people. And, yes, this includes you!
There is a natural system we can tap into through wisdom and good stewardship, but there is also a SUPERNATURAL system we can tap into where God supernaturally supplies in ways we can't imagine and accelerates the work of our hands.
Have you been turned off by prosperity gospel preachers? Have you shut the door to God's involvement in your finances?
Howard L. Dayton said in Leadership Magazine, "...The Bible offers 500 verses on prayer, less than 500 on faith, but more than 2,000 verses on money and possessions." Jesus was concerned with our finances!
He knew it was heavy on our hearts and minds and something we all would deal as long as we're on earth.
So, if Jesus talked about money, we should talk about it!
Not only that, but the average American experiences over $100,000 worth of debt. That's the norm! If Jesus talked about it, and we're struggling with it, maybe we should see what the Bible has to say.
In this episode one of our new series, you'll learn what biblical prosperity IS NOT and what biblical prosperity IS.
*Spoiler alert*
It's not manipulative! It's not a get-rich-quick scheme. It's not laziness.
Have you ever been waiting on God? Waiting on the Sovereignty of God to perform the miraculous?
What if our faith held the key to supernatural results?
This podcast episode will wrestle with the concept of whether or not we can initiate miracles from God, instead of waiting for them to happen by chance.
Scripture shows us that God gives us authority (within boundaries) that allows us to activate our faith and initiate results from heaven!
Follow along in John 2:1-12 and see how Mary pulled a miracle into her "now!"
Many Christians either underplay or overplay satan's role in their daily lives.
Those who underplay it become easily ensnared due to ignorance. Those who overplay it become easily ensnared due to fear.
It’s true that we have a real opponent who hates us, but thankfully,
WE HAVE MORE POWER THAN HIM!
And, he’s already lost. In fact, he’s the biggest loser in history. So, why do we fear the biggest loser? Why do we entertainthe biggest loser?
Whether it feels like it or not, you have everything you need in Christ to defeat the lies and schemes of the enemy.
Watch this third episode of the Renewing the Mind series and realize the authority you have in Christ!
When we first become a believer in Christ, we live in a world where we’re learning and growing and everyone is catering to us, just like a baby. Eventually, though, we must grow up and become mature and responsible Christians ready to become teachers and leaders and disciple-makers for Jesus!Renewing your mind is key is growing beyond the infant stage of Christianity. And, growing beyond the infant stage is crucial to victory during spiritual warfare.
Episode 1 in the "Renewing Your Mind" series.
God can deliver you from addiction, give you profound revelation about Him, give you passion to start ministries and do great things, but if you live your Christian life without continually renewing your mind, you will fall and fall miserably. That's why the Bible emphasizes renewing our mind. Many Christians know to do the right thing but struggle, because their minds are not on Christ. One of the most important things we can do as a believer is fix our minds on Christ! This isn't a one-time experience; this is a lifelong habit!
What responsibility do WE have in the working of miracles? If God wants to do it, it'll happen, right? Not necessarily. In this week's episode of Grow, we're looking at the miraculous healing of a man named Naaman in Second Kings. The most interesting part of this miracle is that it almost didn't happen. In fact, if it wasn't for the people around him, he would have died as a leper. Bottom line: a posture of offense and pride can keep us from everything God has for us!
God created the world in seven days. He looked as His work and saw that it was good, but He declared that the REST was holy. Whoa! When work is what produces achievements and accolades in the Kingdom of God, how is it not holy?!Let's humbly hear about the holiness of rest in this third episode in our "Rest" series!
It doesn’t just “happen.”Just like money doesn't magically appear in your bank account to support your Starbucks habit, time doesn't magically appear in your schedule for rest. Budgeting your time is just as important as budgeting your money. (You can always earn more money but you can't get back your time!) Learn how Jesus prioritized rest by getting away from the crowds and leaning into quietness in this second episode of the “Rest” series!
People work too hard and burn out. People rest too much and become lazy. There's a tension to be managed when living a lifestyle of both work and rest, and God requires us to do both. Let this new podcast series on rest inspire you to prioritize rest!
Welcome to Grow Podcast where you will hear the Word of God, build your faith, and become a spiritually strong believer! Hi there! My name is Tiffany, and in early 2024, God showed me a picture of myself creating a podcast in my bedroom where I shared biblical truths to strengthen believers. In September of that year, He gave me a mandate to feed His people. I quickly remembered my earlier vision and realized it was time to start Grow Podcast. I pray this ministry brings the Bible alive and strengthens you into a SPIRITUALLY STRONG CHRISTIAN WHO'S EFFECTIVE IN THIS WORLD.
