Christina McKay is a mum, a passionate Hypnobirthing Practitioner and a lover of all things birth, beauty and babies.
Christina’s first traumatic birthing experience gave her the drive to help women and their birth partners have positive, empowered and involved birthing experiences. Christina became a Hypnobirthing Practitioner in the early stages of her second pregnancy and went on to use the tools she learnt to have an incredible healing and powerful birth.
Christina openly talks about how she suffered from PTSD after her first birth, which on paper looked like the ideal birth. She talks about her experience and how she got the help she needed to process it. In Episode 10 we chat with Phoebe Cole, a mother of two, a Pilates educator, Yoga teacher, muscular therapist and founder of Pilates Mini.
Phoebe openly discusses her journey into parenthood and how she continually utilised the power of a positive mindset to help her navigate some difficulties she faced including miscarriage.
Phoebe found inspiration after her third miscarriage and during lockdown to venture into the world of entrepreneurship. Initially hesitant about e-commerce, her confidence soared as she witnessed the impact of her Pilates product on herself, colleagues, and clients. Now, fully immersed, working from home on her business part time and fuelled by her passion, Phoebe is taking her innovative product global, driven by a vision of helping people strengthen through Pilates worldwide.

In episode 9 with chat with Maria is a mum of two small kids. Originally from Ireland, Maria and her husband immigrated to Melbourne in 2011 and now call Australia home. Maria, is a parent coach and founder of Reaching for Calm.
After experiencing burnout when her first child was just one, she realised the importance of prioritizing her own wellbeing to create more harmony in her family life. Maria's experiences as a parent led her to grow and evolve in the wellbeing space.
Motivated by her own experiences as a mum, Maria pursued certification as a parent coach. Her passion lies in supporting fellow parents who may be facing similar challenges, helping them discover a healthier balance and deeper connections within their families. She lives by the words “its about connection not perfection", hence the name of this episode.
Maria values evidence-based support. Her background in women's health nursing and postgrad in positive psychology enhances her role, guiding parents with reliable and informed strategies.

In episode 3 we talk with Jade Huggins who tells her raw and honest story about the birth of her 3 babies Goldie, Ziggy and Sonny who was born still at 32 weeks. This one is devastating and emotional yet has a sense of hope and peace to it that Jade articulates so beautifully.
We discuss her struggles with fertility, the births of all her babies, her realisation of the weight of motherhood, her story of Sonny and the unimaginable pain her family went through when they learnt of his condition and passing at 32 weeks. We also discuss navigating parenthood while grieving, and anxiety during pregnancy when you have experienced loss.

Cath is an experienced psychologist, with an interest in conscious conception for the past 18 years and working in the infertility space specifically for the past 11 years.
Cath has been a pioneer in Australia facilitating therapy and psychological support for people trying to conceive both naturally and with assisted fertility.
As a conception psychologist Cath has a post graduate diploma in Infant Mental Health and her Masters in Reproductive Medicine.
Cath is passionate about providing exclusive and individualised psychological care for the conception, pregnancy, birth and post natal period which includes general psychology themes as well as trauma, grief, loss and more complex psychological concerns.
Cath has provided expert comment for various media and organisational and community speaking arrangements.
Cath takes an holistic approach using various psychological therapeutic interventions. Her philosophical underpinnings most often come from a biopsychosocial health and psychology model.
