This episode we dive into what it means to be an empathetic person. Empathy is underrated and often looked upon as a weakness. I’m challenging that mindset today to show that being able to humanize people and understand who they are, is truly a super power. There is a balance with being empathetic, finding that balance is something I am working on daily. I think it’s important to open up your heart to people while also protecting yourself.
Our first guest episode! Please welcome one of my best friend’s Christina Nicole. In this episode we talk about our friendship, red/green flags in all relationships, a nomadic lifestyle, and our love for the Renaissance Faire. Christina and I have been friend’s for years and the experiences we’ve had being friends is nothing short of entertaining. I hope you enjoy getting to know Christina more in this episode!
I left my job and an industry I’ve been in for the last 4 and a half years. I was no longer feeling fulfilled and am currently embarking on a journey to figure out what it is I want to do in this life. Life is too short to keep things in your life that don’t start a fire in your soul. This episode I talk about my career journey, my good/bad experiences, and what I’m doing now to keep my bills paid while pursuing my passions. QUIT YA JOB!!!
Loss is hard no matter what it looks like. When your life takes an unexpected turn and you’re left on your back asking “what’s next” is extremely tough. This episode is about healing from a break up and losing someone you love. How to set yourself up for success and what to do next when you feel like you have no idea. I also talk about healthy detachment. Something I have been studying for the last few weeks. Learning how to loosen the grip on the need to control and not letting things control you.
BREAK UP WORK SHOP:
A new territory for me. I never knew how to put myself first so learning how to set boundaries was a struggle for me. The process hasn't been pretty but I have enjoyed getting to know myself. I really hope you enjoy this episode!
Let’s talk about sex babyyyy. This episode we dive into my relationship with sexual intimacy in all phases of my life. I talk about how being sexually abused framed my sexual experiences. I talk about lulls in relationships. I talk about the affects sex can have on one’s mental health if they’re struggling with self esteem or body image issues. And I talk about how important communication with your sexual partner is to create a safe space. This was such a fun episode to film. I want to continue to create a space of vulnerability while showing you can ultimately create the life you want in all facets. Even if you don’t think you deserve it. I hope you enjoy this episode!
We dig into the role of being a bridesmaid and/or a maid of honor. I talk about my experiences and the curated tips I have when you’re going through this season with your friend or family member. Although it is an honor standing by their side during of the most special days of their lives, your life doesn’t stop. I do a “minterview” with my best friend to get a brides perspective on picking bridesmaids and what she has experienced on her side. I hope you enjoy this episode!!
