Pastor Nathan Hurst addresses two common misconceptions about God: that everyone is automatically a child of God and that people can approach God in any way they choose. The sources argue against these ideas, asserting that only those who believe in Jesus Christ are adopted into God’s family and that God has set the terms for approaching him, which are through Jesus. The sources use scripture to support these claims and emphasize the importance of acknowledging God’s holiness and seeking him through the prescribed way.
