Sabrina Carpenter is the latest celebrity this month to have a scandal! What in the pop culture! She came under fire this week for her new album's, "Man's Best Friend," cover that many fans have criticized for misogynistic themes. With her fans split on their reaction to the artwork, discourse regarding choice feminism, purity culture, and women's sexuality has taken over the internet.
On this week's episode, Hailey takes this controversy head on, providing some hot takes that some may not want to hear...
It’s Pride, and what does that mean? It means the bisexuals and lesbians are fighting. Again. Last week, almost as if TRYING to increase the tensions, Fletcher, the famously sapphic singer, “came out” as having a boyfriend by dropping her song, "Boy"–much to the aghast of fans and sapphics alike. Lesbians have called out Fletcher for her “trad-wife” marketing and poorly timed announcement, while bisexuals have called out lesbians for their reaction, saying it’s biphobic.
This week Hailey is joined by her close friend, Fletcher superfan, and fellow sapphic, Lexi, to weigh in on all of the controversy.

In this week's episode, Hailey celebrates (and also digests) this news and investigates what Taylor might do now as a free woman: release Karma? re-do her sparkling summer? perhaps even come out??
Also happy Pride everyone!

Taylor Swift released “Clara Bow” as the final song on her latest album’s anthology, The Tortured Poet’s Department. From a brief google search, you can learn that Clara Bow was a Hollywood megastar, known as the original “it girl” during the champagne-drenched golden era of the 1920s. But, Clara Bow was also a bisexual icon… that part is often erased by the history books. Is this the larger reason as to why Taylor uses Clara as inspiration? Does Taylor see herself as a Clara Bow reincarnated? Hailey digs into the life, career, & queerness of Clara Bow, and highlights the eerily similar connections between the modern it girl's (Taylor Swift) art and life to the original it girl's (Clara Bow).

Swifties widely accept the idea that the muses of Midnights and TTPD are Joe Alwyn & Matty Healy respectively. Hailey explores the controversial theory that these assumptions are all wrong. What if the songs about London actually reference Taylor Swift's "friend" Zoë Kravitz, who spent COVID quarantined in London with Taylor? And what if all the lyrics about a tattooed cinephile drug user, are actually about Zoë, who matches that description as well? This week, Hailey analyzes the lyrics and the entire timeline of Taylor & Zoë's friendship to get to the truth.
It's time for us to come together for the state of the gaylor union...

On the heels of the latest Love Is Blind season, the internet is buzzing about the impact of social issues (specifically LGBTQ+ rights) on reality TV relationships. The controversies beg the questions: What is break-up worthy when it comes to politics? How are queer conversations and contestants treated on dating shows? Who was wrong: Sara or Ben? And what kind of representation does the LGBTQ+ community want on TV?
Hailey answers all those questions and more on this week's episode. She digs into queer representation on The Bachelor Franchise, Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum, I Kissed A Girl, and more.
(Warning, spoilers ahead...)
The girlies TOOK OVER pop music the last couple of years and arguably, the Summer of 2024 was for the girls. With the Barbie movie still lingering, the Eras Tour in full swing, and Brat Summer fully taking over, feminism seemed like it was at an all time high. But did we have a real cultural shift, or was it just for show? Does Pop Girlie Culture have a little problem... of racism?
Hailey questions the real impact of the pop girlie takeover, and digs into the racism and misogyny that seems to have resurfaced after Beyonce took home Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammys.

"Don't speculate on sexuality" is a phrase we hear CONSTANTLY on the internet these days, and Hailey's here to tell you the opposite advice: not only is it ok, but you SHOULD.
Hailey dives into the queer theory that supports "speculating," and explains how speculating on sexuality is not the same as outing. If you're stuck in an internet argument, you're in luck, cuz this episode gives you the tools you need to win, or at least, know you're right on the inside.
