I'm Jenn Rice. Functionally Fit podcast was created to help people learn about integrative and functional medicine. I've practiced as a PA for over 19 years and found functional medicine as a desperate patient looking for root causes to symptoms I was experiencing. With the help of this field of medicine, I saw immediate symptom relief and overall transformation in my health. I was hooked and wanted to make sure people know all their options and the power they hold themselves in healing. Meditation has a history that goes back thousands of years, and many meditative techniques began in Eastern traditions. The term “meditation” refers to a variety of practices that focus on mind and body integration and are used to calm the mind and enhance overall well-being.

Meditating meets a lot of resistance. I know it was difficult for me to carve time to begin a practice but once I did, it changed everything. Your mind is powerful.

Allow me to be your guide, 10 minutes is all you need, any place you happen to be. If you are worrying a lot, maybe your health is not as good as you'd like it to be, or you have found yourself anxious more and more, give this a try and let me know what you think.
