Devin and Greggo tag up this week to discuss the massive upset by English League Two side over Manchester United in the EFL Cup, and where does this leave United following a slow start to the season.
Turning stateside we discuss the NWSL controversy where the extreme heat caused an extended delay for a nationally televised match between Orlando and Kansas City, and the necessity to televise the match, led to an expedited restart and an injury to a major star in the league. We discuss that situation and what could've been done differently.
Last, we go into the recent USMNT roster announcement and if the MNT is ready for the final push to the World Cup following a difficult summer for the team and its leaders.

The For The Culture Soccer Show has returned!
Back to discuss things going on in the game of soccer crossing over into Black and Pop Culture, we launch our first episode of 2025! In this episode our hosts- Greggo, Devin The Dude, and Mean Marc go into the first UEFA Champions League semifinal leg between Arsenal and PSG, and recap our favorite EPL clubs' season up to now, and what can be done to make for a successful finish to their seasons, we preview the 2nd semifinal between Inter Milan and Barcelona.
In the 2nd half we discussed a major story that dropped while we were away, the proposal of MLS switching to a traditional fall-spring calendar and if that would be the best move for MLS, and why.

In this episode, Greggo and Mean Marc recap the 2024 MLS Cup and focus on the viewership issues as fans are split between watching on Fox or watching on Apple TV and how the overall coverageof MLS is affecting the ambitions of the league. We come back after yet another holiday where we begin to get ready for the Women's World Cup, and dig into the US Men's Gold Cup journey (prior to their Semifinal exit) and debate on who's made a decent case for further inclusion in the men's roster.
