After showing signs of life when the month began, the Atlanta Braves hit the skids and dropped in the standings as the month of May came to a close.
Even with superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. and ace righty Spencer Strider back, the club has been unable to maintain its momentum and is once again scratching and clawing for wins after dropping back below .500.
