In this part two of our conversation with Mia, we unpack her experience with a “Lyme disease” diagnosis through the lens of GNM - and her resolution of the symptoms once linked to that label. Alongside resolving multiple anaphylactic allergies (see episode 38), Mia untangled the conflicts behind her Lyme symptoms, stepped out of the illness identity, and was able to get her life back. We explore how broad, catch-all diagnoses can obscure the real biological programs at play, why in GNM we look at symptoms individually rather than through diagnosis labels, and how labels can become woven into our self-identity. Mia also shares how GNM has transformed her parenting, her child’s health, and offers advice for integrating this paradigm into family life.
