On this episode we close out the Halloween season with a Horror Movie Grab Bag. Todd shares his thoughts on four forgotten horror flicks that he's watched recently.  We have some rock and roll horror with 1988's Black Roses. Then Ally Sheedy is a psychic battling a psychic serial killer in 1990's Fear. Next we have some Canadian giant bug madness with 1987's Blue Monkey. Finally, we'll close with Brittany Murphy in a 2009 ghost story called Deadline. We also have some trivia questions and a horror movie recommendation to end the show. 

We continue with our 2025 Halloween series this week with a true oddity. Brace yourselves for the 2002 film Ritual, starring Jennifer Grey, Craig Sheffer, and Tim Curry. The odd thing is, depending on how you watch the movie, it may or may not be the third instalment in the Tales from the Crypt series of films.  For our discussion we are joined by Kristen Lopez, who is currently authoring a book on all things Tales from the Crypt. What would Halloween be without a visit to a creepy old house? On this week's episode, Toby Roan joins us as we discuss the 1963 film House of the Damned. It's a film that is only 63 minutes long, so this sow is longer than the film itself! Of course, we also have our movie recommendations and a trivia game inspired by B movies of the 50's and 60's. It's October, so we're going to be focusing on Halloween appropriate films this month. We start things out with the 1987 horror thriller White of the Eye, starring David Keith and Cathy Moriarty. On this week's episode we look at a 1987 film featuring an actress who was on the verge of winning an Oscar just a few months later. Cher won her Oscar for Moonstruck, but just a few months before that film was released, she stared in the courtroom drama Suspect. The film also features Dennis Quaid and Liam Neeson. MovieRob from the MovieRob Minute returns to the show to discuss this film. In addition to our main discussion, we also have a trivia game and our movie recommendations.

On this week's episode we take a look at the lives of a couple of hitmen in the 1998 film Jerry and Tom. No, it doesn't involve the animated cat and mouse...that's Tom and Jerry. This is Jerry and Tom. It stars Joe Mantegna and Sam Rockwell in the title roles. Nick Rehak from Play MST For Me is our guest for this one. On this week's episode, we have a unique late 80's take on the slasher genre, where the killer springs forth from the pages of a book. First-time guest Harrison Lange, owner of Static Tape Video, joins us as we look at I, Madman. As usual, we also have our trivia game and our movie recommendations.

There are a ton of big screen version of Robin Hood, but on this week's episode we see what happens when the Rat Pack do their take on the classic hero. Shane Conto from The Wasteland Watchlist joins us for the musical gangster romp Robin and the 7 Hoods, featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, and Peter Falk. 

On this week's episode we're joined by Ty from Comeuppance Reviews to look at the 1998 crime thriller Phoenix. It has a stacked cast including Ray Liotta, Anthony LaPaglia, Angelica Huston, Daniel Baldwin, Jeremy Piven, and many more. It's a film that certainly paints Phoenix, Arizona as not a nice place to be. We also have our movie recommendations and our usual trivia game.

On this week's episode, we're going to take a look at the only film directed by actor James Caan. He stars along with Jill Eikenberry, and Robert Viharo in the 1980 film Hide in Plain Sight. Daniel Lackey joins us to discuss this "based on a true story" drama. We also have our movie recommendations and a trivia game inspired by actors who directed just one film. 

It's time to look at another time when an athlete turned actor. Join us we go back to the year 1998 when Howie Long starred in Firestorm. The film also features Scott Glenn and a fun villain performance from William Forsyth. Matt Poirier from Direct to Video Connoisseur is our guest this time. Laurence Olivier comes along for the ride in 1959's The Devil's Disciple. Spoiler, it's not a horror movie...rather, it's a Revolutionary War drama. I swear it really is just a coincidence that in the same week where we are seeing the release of the latest dinosaur theme park movie, we happen to have a dino-themed episode of the Forgotten Filmcast. This week, Elwood Jones from The Asian Cinema Film Club stops by to discuss the 1977 film The Last Dinosaur. We start with an early appearance by Rosario Dawson in The First 20 Million is Always the Hardest. Next we go back to the 60's as Sandra Dee and Bobby Darin star in If a Man Answers. After that we look at one of the last films to star Rodney Dangerfield, The 4th Tenor. Then we close things out with the coming-of-age drama Staying Together.
