Story Transcript:

En: Triglavski nacionalni park was bathed in a colorful autumn outfit.

En: The leaves glowed in shades of orange and red, and the cooler breeze hinted at the approaching winter.

Sl: Maja, Anže in Nina so zgodaj zjutraj začeli svojo pot proti vrhu Triglava.
En: Maja, Anže, and Nina began their journey towards the summit of Triglav early in the morning.

En: Maja was determined to reach the summit in memory of her late grandfather, who had been a great lover of the mountains.

Sl: "Nina, kakšno bo vreme danes?
En: "Nina, what will the weather be like today?"

Sl: " je vprašala Maja, medtem ko so gazili skozi listje.
En: Maja asked as they trudged through the leaves.

En: Nina, who was experienced with the mountains, replied, "It will be nice today, but we should be careful.

Sl: Jeseni se vreme lahko hitro spremeni.
En: In autumn, the weather can change quickly."

Sl: "Ko so hodili naprej, je Maja začela čutiti utrujenost.
En: As they continued to walk, Maja began to feel tired.

En: "I'm feeling a bit dizzy," she admitted to Anže, who was walking behind her.

En: Anže, always cautious, suggested, "Maybe we should turn back.

Sl: Ni vredno tveganja.
En: It's not worth the risk."

Sl: "Vendar je Maja želela nadaljevati.
En: However, Maja wanted to continue.

En: "Just a little further, Grandpa would be proud of me," she said with a stubborn smile.

En: Nina, somewhat distanced, noticed that it was becoming harder for Maja to keep up, but she respected her wish.

Sl: Ko so se povzpeli višje, je Maja nenadoma zastala.
En: As they climbed higher, Maja suddenly stopped.

En: Her face was pale, her legs buckled, and she fell to her knees.

Sl: Anže je hitro pokleknil k njej: "Maja, to je nevarno.
En: Anže quickly knelt beside her: "Maja, this is dangerous.

Sl: Vem, da želiš do vrha, a zdaj moraš misliti nase.
En: I know you want to make it to the top, but now you have to think about yourself."

Sl: "Nina se je hitro pridružila.
En: Nina quickly joined them.

Sl: "Prvi simptom gorske bolezni je vrtoglavica, Maja.
En: "The first symptom of altitude sickness is dizziness, Maja.

Sl: Spustiti se moramo.
En: We need to descend.

Sl: Takoj.
En: Right away."

Sl: "Maja je nerada prikimala.
En: Reluctantly, Maja nodded.

Sl: Skupaj so pomagali Maji na noge in se počasi začeli spuščati nazaj v dolino.
En: Together, they helped Maja to her feet and slowly began to descend back into the valley.

Sl: Med potjo je Maja počivala večkrat, a z...
