Sl: Ljubljana je zjutraj jeseni posebno živahna.
En: Ljubljana is particularly lively on an autumn morning.

Sl: Barve dreves se skoraj zlijejo s pestro ponudbo na ljubljanski centralni tržnici.
En: The colors of the trees almost blend with the diverse offerings at the Ljubljanska central market.

Sl: Med stojnicami z bučami, jabolki in medenimi izdelki se je Matej prebijal s hitrim korakom.
En: Among the stalls with pumpkins, apples, and honey products, Matej was making his way quickly.

Sl: Njegove misli so bile polne spominov na stare čase, ko je družinska pekarna cvetela.
En: His thoughts were filled with memories of the old days when the family bakery thrived.

Sl: A sedaj? Stvari niso več take.
En: But now? Things are no longer the same.

Sl: Tanja, ki je hodila ob njem, je nestrpno popravljala ruto okoli vratu.

Sl: Matej je verjel v staro modrost stare mame.
En: Matej believed in the old wisdom of his grandmother.

Sl: "Vem, da je tržnica mesto, kjer najdem odgovore," je dejal.
En: "I know that the market is the place where I will find answers," he said.

Sl: "Stari prodajalci vedo vse."
En: "The old vendors know everything."

Sl: Potem sta se ustavila pri stojnici starega Lojzeta.
En: Then they stopped at the stall of old Lojze.

Sl: Lojze je bil stari znanec družine.
En: Lojze was an old acquaintance of the family.

Sl: "Matej, Tanja, kaj vaju prinaša sem?" je prijazno vprašal.
En: "Matej, Tanja, what brings you here?" he asked kindly.

Sl: "Imava recept, star družinski recept," je Matej začel razlagati in pokazal zmečkano stran iz kuharske knjige.
En: "We have a recipe, an old family recipe," Matej began to explain, showing the crumpled page from the cookbook.

Sl: "Manjka ena sestavina."
En: "One ingredient is missing."

Sl: Lojze je pomislil in se nasmehnil.
En: Lojze thought for a moment and smiled.

Sl: "Včasih se skrivnosti skrivajo v preprostih stvareh.
En: "Sometimes secrets are hidden in simple things.
