Sl: Listje je tiho padalo na tla in ustvarjalo rjavo-oranžni preprogo po tleh parka Tivoli.
En: The leaves quietly fell to the ground, creating a brown-orange carpet across the surface of Tivoli Park.

Sl: Tadeja je stala ob vhodu v park, na ramenih njen nahrbtnik, poln vreč za smeti in rokavic.
En: Tadeja stood at the entrance to the park, a backpack on her shoulders, full of trash bags and gloves.

Sl: "Danes bo dober dan," si je mislila, ko je gledala okrog sebe in videla že nekaj prostovoljcev, ki so z nasmehi pozdravljali drug drugega.
En: "Today is going to be a good day," she thought to herself as she looked around and saw some volunteers, greeting each other with smiles.

Sl: Medtem je Matej sramežljivo vstopil v park.
En: Meanwhile, Matej shyly entered the park.

Sl: Bil je nov v Ljubljani, vsak kotiček mesta je bil zanj enako zanimiv kot skrivnosten.
En: He was new to Ljubljana, and every corner of the city was equally interesting and mysterious to him.

Sl: "Hej!
En: "Hey!"

Sl: " se je zaslišalo izza njega in ko se je obrnil, je zagledal Tadejo.

Sl: "Kmalu je Mateju kazala, kako pravilno deliti odpadke v različne vreče.
En: Soon, she was showing Matej how to properly sort waste into different bags.

Sl: Med delom sta veselo klepetala.
En: As they worked, they chatted cheerfully.

Sl: Ugotovila sta, da imata veliko skupnega - ljubezen do narave, željo po spremembi in tu in tam skromno navdušenje nad dobrimi knjigami.

Sl: Sonce je čez dan le sramežljivo pokukalo izza oblakov.
En: The sun shyly peeked out from behind the clouds throughout the day.

Sl: Luka, Tadejin zvesti prijatelj in zaupnik, je opazoval dvojico od daleč.
En: Luka, Tadeja's loyal friend and confidant, watched the pair from afar.

Sl: Poznal je Tadejo dovolj dobro, da je videl, kako se v njej bije notranji boj.
En: He knew Tadeja well enough to see the internal struggle within her.

Sl: Morala se je osredotočiti na svoje okoljske cilje, vendar jo je Matej močno pritegnil.
