Sl: Matej je hodil po ozki poti proti občinskemu domu.
En: Matej was walking along the narrow path toward the municipal building.
Sl: Jesenski veter mu je mršil lase.
En: The autumn wind tousled his hair.
Sl: Zrak je bil hladen, a čist.
En: The air was cold but clear.
Sl: Listi na tleh so šelesteli ob njegovih stopinjah, obarvani v zlato in rdeče.
En: The leaves on the ground rustled under his footsteps, colored in gold and red.
Sl: Bilo je dan volitev in Matej je bil na poti, da odda svoj glas.
En: It was election day, and Matej was on his way to cast his vote.
