Story Transcript:

Ga: Bhí an ghaoth fhionnuar ag séideadh tríd na coillte nuair a shiúil Cillian síos an cosán i nGleann Dá Loch.
En: The cool wind was blowing through the woods as Cillian walked down the path in Gleann Dá Loch.

Ga: Bhain sé taitneamh as an aerlár nádúrtha, faoi scáth na sléibhte agus na gcrann donn-órga.
En: He enjoyed the natural atmosphere, under the shade of the mountains and the golden-brown trees.

Ga: Bhí sé ag scríobh úrscéil faoi stair ársa na hÉireann, agus bhí na ballaí cloiche crúiteach ina spreagadh dó.
En: He was writing a novel about ancient Éire history, and the rugged stone walls inspired him.

Ga: Bhí Fiona ann, ag spaisteoireacht tríd na cosáin, ag éalú ó rí rá na cathrach.
En: Fiona was there, strolling through the paths, escaping from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Ga: D'aimsigh sí síocháin sa nadúr agus thug áilleacht an toirní órga tuiscint di.
En: She found peace in nature, and the beauty of the golden foliage gave her understanding.

Ga: Bhí sí á sáill san áit seo, áit a raibh scéalta an ama atá caite caomhnaithe go binn ag na fothracha.
En: She was captivated by this place, where the stories of the past were gently preserved by the ruins.

Ga: Ar chaoi éigin, bhuail a gcosán le chéile.
En: Somehow, their paths crossed.

Ga: D'fhéach Cillian, ag cailliúint a fhócas ar an áilleacht staíriúil timpeall air nuair a chonaic sé Fiona ag teacht i dtreo a chosáin.
En: Cillian looked up, losing his focus on the historical beauty around him when he saw Fiona approaching his path.

Ga: Bhí rud éigin faoina féin a mheall é, cé gur bhac sé leis an tús.
En: There was something about her that intrigued him, although he hesitated at first.

Ga: Cé gur i ndán di féin suaimhneas a aimsiú, bhí deacracht ag Fiona muinín a chur i ndaoine nua.
En: Though she was meant to find solace on her own, Fiona found it difficult to trust new people.

Ga: Ach bhí rud éigin faoin gcaoi ar labhair Cillian faoi na scéalta ársa a bhí suimiúil, agus gan choinne, thosaigh siad ag comhrá go domhain níos mó ná mar a bhí beartaithe aige.
En: But there was something about how Cillian spoke about the ancient stories that was interesting, and unexpectedly, they began a deeper conversation than he had intended.

Ga: Faoin Samhain, bhí an spéir dorcha, agus gan choinne, thosaigh sé ag stealladh báistí.
En: By Samhain, the sky was dark, and suddenly, it started pouring rain.

Ga: Rith siad chuig na fothracha, ag lorg dídean ón tuile tobann.
En: They ran to the ruins, seeking shelter from the sudden downpour.

Ga: Cé go raibh na fothracha fuar agus garbh, thug siad seilbh tuisceanach do chómhrá Cillian agus Fiona.
En: Though the ruins were cold and rough, they provided an insightful space for Cillian and Fiona's conversation.

Ga: D'inis siad scéalta pearsanta dá chéile faoin mbáisteach.
En: They shared personal stories with each other under the rain.

Ga: Bhí Fiona níos oscailte, ag scaoileadh a cuid amhras faoin am atá caite.
En: Fiona was more open, letting go of her doubts about the past.

Ga: Labhair Cillian ar a úrscéal agus a cuid dúil sna scéalta a chabhraigh leis inspioráid a fháil.
En: Cillian spoke about his novel and how the stories helped him find inspiration.

Ga: Bhí siad compordach, in ainneoin na toiscí.
En: They were comfortable, despite the circumstances.
