En: Autumn is here, and the wind is blowing strongly.

Ga: Tá an fharraige ag bualadh in aghaidh na carraigeacha.
En: The sea crashes against the rocks.

Ga: Tá an t-am faoi rún, é lán de dhathanna buí agus rua an fómhair.

Ga: Bhí Siobhán ina seasamh ar imeall na haille.
En: Siobhán was standing on the edge of the cliff.

Ga: Bhí Cormac agus Eamon taobh léi.
En: Cormac and Eamon were beside her.

Ga: Bhí Siobhán mar threoraí acu ar an gconair, ach i ngan fhios do Cormac agus Eamon, bhí eagla airde ar Siobhán.
En: Siobhán was their guide on the path, but unbeknownst to Cormac and Eamon, Siobhán had a fear of heights.

Ga: Bhí sí cinnte ina treoireacht, ach bhí a chroí ag preabadh nuair a d'fhéach sí síos.
En: She was confident in her guidance, but her heart pounded when she looked down.

Ga: "Cinnte a bheidh sé seo go hiontach," a dúirt Eamon, a bhí lán le dóchas.

Ga: Bhí an t-aer úr ag líonadh a scamhóga, agus gearr an bealach ina raibh siad.
En: The fresh air filled their lungs, and the path was short.

Ga: Ach le gach céim níos gaire don imeall, mhéadaigh a imní.
En: But with each step closer to the edge, her anxiety increased.

Ga: Ní raibh a fhios ag Cormac faoina heagla.
En: Cormac didn't know about her fear.

Ga: "Tá tú ceart go leor, Siobhán?
En: "Are you okay, Siobhán?"

Ga: " a d'fhiafraigh sé, nuair a thug sé faoi deara í ag dul beagán bána.
En: he asked when he noticed her turning a bit pale.

Ga: "Gnócha go leor," a dúirt sí, ag iarraidh eagla a choinneáil faoi chois.
En: "Busy enough," she said, trying to keep her fear under control.

Ga: Ach an fhírinne, ní raibh ábalta í a cheilt a thuilleadh.
En: But in truth, she could no longer hide it.

En: Onward to the most dangerous spot.

Ga: Blaincéad de néalta dorcha ag sreabhadh anuas, agus an farraige ag éisteacht le fórsa.

Ga: Tháinig deireadh leis an am rúnda.
En: The secret time came to an end.

Ga: Bhí Siobhán ag ciceáil ar an imeall.

En: Eamon was afraid, but he had a certain confidence.

Ga: "Siobhán," ar sé go cúramach, "an bhfuil rud éigin ann nach bhfuil tú ag rá linn?
En: "Siobhán," he said cautiously, "is there something...
