Story Transcript:

En: In the modern office lobby, Rina stood awkwardly while observing the surroundings.

En: The room was filled with people briskly walking, the sound of ringing phones, and light conversations.

Id: Matahari musim semi bersinar terang melalui jendela-jendela kaca besar, membuat lantai marmer mengilap.
En: The spring sun shone brightly through the large glass windows, making the marble floor gleam.

En: Rina had just been transferred to this office from another city.

Id: Semua tampak asing dan membuatnya merasa terasing.
En: Everything seemed unfamiliar and made her feel alienated.

En: In the crowd, she hoped to find a friend or at least someone to share a story with for a moment.

En: At the same time, Adi entered the lobby with hurried steps.

En: He worked in a different department and only occasionally visited this office.

En: With a heavy workload, he almost never had time to stop and enjoy the surroundings.

Id: Namun, hari ini adalah pengecualian.
En: However, today was an exception.

Id: Lift yang biasa dia gunakan rusak.
En: The elevator he usually used was broken.

Id: Rina dan Adi, bersama beberapa orang lainnya, terpaksa menunggu teknisi memperbaikinya.
En: Rina and Adi, along with several others, were forced to wait for the technician to fix it.

En: Seeing this as an opportunity, even though her heart was hesitant, Rina decided to start a conversation.

Id: "Hai, kamu juga menunggu lift?
En: "Hi, are you also waiting for the elevator?"

Id: " tanyanya dengan senyum sedikit gugup.
En: she asked with a slightly nervous smile.

Id: Adi menoleh dan tersenyum tipis.
En: Adi turned and gave a faint smile.

Id: "Iya, padahal biasanya sangat jarang rusak," jawabnya sambil menoleh ke arah pintu lift yang tertutup.
En: "Yes, it's usually very rarely broken," he replied while looking at the closed elevator doors.

Id: Setelah beberapa menit obrolan basa-basi, Rina menemukan bahwa mereka memiliki kesamaan dalam hal kopi.
En: After a few minutes of small talk, Rina discovered that they shared a common interest in coffee.

Id: "Sebenarnya aku baru pindah ke sini.
En: "Actually, I just moved here.

Id: Masih bingung mencari tempat kopi yang enak," katanya.
En: I'm still confused about finding a good coffee place," she said.

Id: Wajah Adi sedikit berseri.
